protip, if you ever find yourself in a situation like this and don't feel comfortable helping someone get to safety on your own: research harm reduction services in your area and save their information. many major cities have groups with specialized training in de-escalation, which exist as a safer alternative to calling the cops. if you save their number in your phone, then you have it on hand in case you meet someone in crisis, and you can call them and stay with the person while you get them some help

Really disappointing that the responses to Lil Nas X having a mental health crisis that actually take it seriously are advocating for him to be forced into treatment. Firstly nothing in the articles I've read even slightly suggests an overdose, I'd wager the cops injured him and this is simply how they're trying to launder it, but also "taking it seriously" doesn't mean we should all agree that he's a crazy person who should be forced onto medication, institutionalised, put on a fucking conservatorship or whatever the fuck else people are saying jfc. It actually would have been far better if the person filming him got him home safely rather than involving the cops, how are we still having this conversation?

Don't call the cops on someone having a mental health crisis

Don't call the cops on racialised and especially Black + Indigenous/Native people

This was inspired by the songs "And Now For Today's Sponsors...!" and "MIKE, the BOARD, please!"

They sound SO much like Mario Party music, and when I started thinking about it, ch3 reminded me a lot of Mario Party for the GameCube, which I played a lot of as a kid. Specifically, I drew inspiration from Mario Party 7 since it was such a large part of my childhood. Tenna's design also just screams Mario Party host to me, maybe because he reminds me of MC Ballyhoo. The board is based on Neon Heights from Mario Party 7.
