Atticus Lincoln Imagine
Atticus Lincoln Words: 522 A/n: Haven’t done one of him, yet, so I thought ‘Why not’? I’ll get to the other requests as soon as I can!
You gazed over, head in the palm of your hand while huffing a bit too loudly at one of the nurse’s stations in Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Why were you doing that, you may ask? You were hunting for boyfriends of course, potential husbands, so of course you would use your break time to scope out potential hot men injured over in beds, catastrophic injuries or not. You were on a hunt… kind of. You were also focused on looking for Meredith Grey, your amazing friend since intern year, because she wanted to just talk to you since you had a big day of a long surgery and a half with a lot of bleeders, too much cutting, and so much more.
“This sucks,” You hummed, turning to gaze over at Alex Karev, interim chief, and your other amazing friend since intern year.
“You’re just wanting sex,” He turned to you with a smirk.
“I want a relationship.”
“You and Mer are on the same boat, so you can go out together.”
You rolled your eyes. “I have no issues with that. I want to do that on my own. I have the potential, I just need a… chance…” You huffed, returning to your original position, comfortable and adjusted although wrist probably hurting from falling asleep. You tapped the bottom of your lip with a pen.
“Maybe I can go for an easy doctor. Hot, handsome, charming, AND smart. And we’d know the exact same things.”
“Wouldn’t that be boring?”
“Not really. I don’t think so. I’m sure we’d get excited so easily just by what new things come up.” You gave a smile, easily thinking about it. You heard footsteps walk up.
“Hey Chief, just came to get an approval for surgery,” You heard, making you focus on what was in front of you. You gazed up. What you described was true. A tall, handsome man, blue eyes, sandy hair, long a bit, but that didn’t matter. Chiseled chin, looks like he has a perfect bod. You had more words not appropriate, probably. You focused.
“Ah, yeah, of course.”
The man gazed over at you. He smiled. “Hey, weren’t you like this when I came around here 20 minutes ago?” He was speaking to you.
You blinked twice, giving a nod. “Uh, yeah, just on break. Lunch break.”
“Did you even eat?” He raised an eyebrow in question.
You shook your head. “Not really, no. I’m explaining to the Chief, about my surgery that I finished preforming.” You sat up, setting your pen down with a smirk. Your pen set down next to a patient’s chart.
“Oh? If I knew better, you looked like a nurse waiting for some action to have.”
You raised your eyebrows. “I’ll have you know, I’m an attending. Dr. (Y/n) (L/n), Neurologist.”
He chuckled. “Uh, I’m Link. Head of Ortho.” He’s the head of Ortho? Oh.
“Huh. You’re the new head. Welcome to Grey Sloan.”
You stood, shaking his hand and turning to Alex.
“I’ll see you later, Chief.”
You grabbed your chart, walking along. Oh, you had to know more about this ‘Link’ guy. Definitely.

Can you do a story line with Karev similar to Jo's where the reader gets abused (maybe he sees it) and he kicks butt then comforts her? And both admit their feelings? *Reader is a fellow Dr @ Grey Sloan* please and thank you!
I got it covered, hopefully you enjoy it!

Alex Karev Imagine
Alex Karev Imagine 409 Words Requested By: brifaith-loveroflife
You held your cheek, turning away as you stared at the floor. When you were telling someone their loved one had died, you didn’t expect such anger to coarse through them enough to hit you. Your cheek stung, just enough to hear an echoing slap in the air. You were finishing up a surgery from a woman who was in a car accident. You did your best, but in the end, it wasn’t enough. It just wasn’t enough.
“You said you’d help, and you didn’t!”
“Sir, under these circumstances,” You started. The man you were taking to was her husband. It was awful, yes. “She was in shock after the accident, and was pumped full of adrenaline. It’s just that the shock wore off and reality had settled in.”
“You said you’d help her. You’d do your best-.”
“I did my best, I didn’t say I didn’t.” This man reminded you closely of someone you knew. Your brother. In every way he was a bully to you, and he did the exact same thing when you were so young. This certainly didn’t bring back pleasant memories.
He raised his hand only for it to be caught. You winced, but turned to the source of who caught it. It was Alex Karev. He must’ve finished his surgery as well. “Look, I don’t care if you hit anyone, but don’t hit someone who tried to help you. She did all she could,” He muttered.
The angered widow stepped away, heading outside and away from the two of you. You held your cheek, still feeling the sting of the slap that happened nearly minutes ago. Alex turned to you. He held one of your cheeks and placed his other hand on your shoulder.
“Are you alright,” He hummed in question, inspecting where your cheek hurt the most.
You nodded, giving a slight sigh. “Yeah… Thank you.” You looked up at him, pleased at his actions, but still feeling guilty from all that has happened. You retracted yourself from him, turning your head.
“I just… feel guilty, is all. She lost too much blood already, and her injuries were slowly killing her. I just… wish I could do more…” You gazed down with a sigh and took off your scrub cap. You headed away going to go fill in your charts and do something else to occupy your time before the next patient came in and a new whirl would start up again.

Alex Karev Imagine
Alex Karev Imagine 491 Words Requested By: Anonymous
You could hear him breathe heavily. Your eyes darted around in confusion, wanting to know who was breathing that hard in the stairwell. You were here just to ride out your day. You finished a rough surgery and had to go help with post ops. You were really looking for somewhere quiet so that you didn’t have to hear the nagging voice of your attendings calling you out for every single error you had to give. You walked up the steps quietly. Your eyes darted towards a step to see Alex Karev sitting there, head in his hands. He looked like he was the only person in the stairwell.
“Karev,” You called, your voice laced in question as you went up to him slowly. His head darted up, breath still heavy. You sat next to him on the steps. “What’s the famous Dr. Karev doing on the steps? If I recall, you were fine not even a couple of hours ago when I last saw you. However, it was hours. Time changes.”
“You suck,” You heard him groan.
“Karev. Seriously. What’s up? I have literally heard you breathing heavily for the last 10 minutes I’ve been in here.”
“Just… Shut up. Seriously,” He muttered lowly, which made your face pinch. “I just need to think. Can’t I think? I just need to think.”
You looked forward. “…What’s up, Alex? Tell me,” You whispered. “I won’t tell a soul. Tell me what’s bothering you in this stairwell.”
“I’m going to mess up. This is my FIRST surgery by myself. I’ve gone over the procedure. I have done it tons of times. What if I mess it up? What if I can’t do it? What if-?”
You gave a light giggle. “You? Anxious about surgery? You’re not Alex Karev.”
“I’m being serious. This is my shot. What if I blow it?”
“You won’t blow it. I accidentally dropped a few blood bags on the floor, had to change scrubs. I was trying to impress someone that doesn’t even like me. I sat in surgery and had to get head deep into a body. I was nervous, beyond nervous. MY anxiety kicked in. But you? You’ll be fine. You won’t pull a me today. However, there is an upside.”
“Which is?”
“I get to comfort a cute guy in the stairwell. Now, I call that a good day, despite what has happened. So, why don’t you go and rock your surgery?” You nudged him with a smile.
He sat up. He turned to you. “Cute, eh?” His previous exterior faded and came was the confident Alex Karev you were used to. You smirked.
“Yeah. Cute. And if you survive surgery and rock it, you can find me later. I should be heading towards the E.R. now. Have fun.”
You got up, walking down the steps. You knew you were going to get some action later. Even if it’s just a date from Alex Karev.

Mark Sloan Imagine
Mark Sloan Imagine Words: 231 Requested
“Mark,” You called.
He raced into the room, holding your hand as he breathed a bit too heavily. “What is it? What do you need? Pillows? Blankets? Soup? I’m almost done with dinner. What is it, Princess,” He asked, using his pet nickname on you with a nod.
You rolled your eyes. “Geez. I just needed you to reach the remote. I just broke my foot walking down the stairs, it isn’t that serious anymore. I’m in a caste. I’m not dying,” You laughed.
“You could be. This is serious. What if you never walk again? What if you get a disease in your leg? What if you accidentally have to get your foot amputated? What if-,” He started asking so many questions.
“What if I’m being starved to death because my boyfriend isn’t making his awesome girlfriend some food? Callie did her work. She’s great. I’ll be seeing her next week for progress on my leg. Don’t worry about it.”
“Alright… Want a drink, Princess?”
“Yes. I want a drink. Some (Favorite Drink) will do.”
“We might not have that.”
“Well, water will be fine-.”
“I’m off to the store!!” He grabbed his keys and walked out.
“Mark. Mark!!” You heard the door shut. You rolled your eyes. “He’s treating me like a Queen. He should call me that instead of Princess,” You joked with a smile on your face.

Andrew DeLuca Multi-Chapter FanFic CH 25 *Final Chapter*
Chapter 25: A Date With Yours Truly Words: 380
“(Y/n)!”
You stood, turning your head as you left physical therapy. After several weeks, your life was back on track. You stared at Andrew DeLuca as he stood outside the hospital, catching his breath as he stared back at you.
“Yes? What’s up,” You hummed.
“You and me. Dinner. Fanciest Restaurant in Seattle,” He sat up straight.
You blinked twice. “A date? You’re asking me out on a date,” You hummed in question, turning to face him fully.
“You said after physical therapy that I could ask you out on a date. And that’s what I’m doing.”
How did you two get here? You were exiting the hospital. You were signing your discharge papers. You heard footsteps approach you as you pulled your bag over your shoulder.
“(Y/n)?”
You looked over to see Andrew, holding a few flowers. “Hey Andrew. Got flowers for someone special,” You smiled.
“Yeah. For you.”
He held them out to you. You blinked twice, grabbing them.
“Um… Andrew? Are you sure?”
“Yeah. You are special. And I also thought you deserved something nice after getting discharged and all.”
You smiled softly. “Alright. Thank you.” You took the flowers, looking down at them to see that they were your favorite. “Any special reason you got me (Favorite Flower)?”
“Just wanted to.”
“I can tell you’re holding something back. Care to share?” You smirked then.
He chuckled lightly, turning away from you slightly. “Well. I was GOING to ask you if you wanted to have dinner with me? Later tomorrow night.”
You raised an eyebrow. “You know I can’t do much physical activity anyways, right?”
“R…Right.” He forgot about that. You gave a small laugh.
“How about this? A few weeks into my physical therapy, ask me then. And when you do, ask me properly out on a date.”
“I’ll take that deal.”
You smirked, crossing your arms. “You were right. I did say that.”
“So, is that a yes?”
You nodded. “Alright Dr. Andrew DeLuca. That’s a date with your’s truly.”
“You won’t regret it,” He smiled. You smiled in return.
“You know where my place is. Pick me up at 7. I expect you tomorrow night, yes?”
“See you tomorrow night.”
You walked off to catch a cab home.
Ahh… A date with your’s truly.

Andrew DeLuca Multi-Chapter FanFic CH 24
Chapter 24: Eventually Words: 252
The race was on to find out who would confess to who. Their plans shortly ended when obviously Andrew fell in love with his old ex-girlfriend, Sam. Devastated, you kept yourself busy, and ranting in front of the Attendings at lunch did the trick as well. You ranted mainly to Jo, who obviously then tried to stir you away from making an affair, your heart clearly still beated for the Italian man that stood near you almost during every quarter of the day because of working with Dr. Shepherd.
Was it good? No, it wasn’t. Did it hurt? A lot. But the main question was, should it affect your performance? And the answer still was no. It should not have. You were still going to work your butt off. You were going to show the world that as a neurosurgeon that life is easy when you take the risks, perform well, and be at your best.
Andrew, though realizing a month into his relationship that he was still in love with you, pressed on his questions like no other. His future with you was in his sights. He just had to make the first move. How would that go?
He had many scenarios thought up. He had too many. Different outcomes. Different everything. Each word, sometimes played on replay, were different. What were you doing to him, you wonder? You were doing a lot of things. Was he excited about you? Kinda. Were you going to know? Eventually.
Everything would happen eventually.

Andrew DeLuca Multi-Chapter FanFic CH 23
Chapter 23: Undetermined Words: 314
By the time it was the 3rd month of knowing you, Andrew knew a lot. He knew what you first did in the morning, first thing you did when you got home. Your favorite foods, movies, places to hang out. Everything and everywhere. And you knew a bit about him too, he had to make sure he wasn’t prying information about you, but even as he was curious, he wanted to know more as well.
Some people thought it was obvious. Very obvious. For instance, Isaac, the friend Andrew was seen next to. He was going to tell you Andrew liked you. Andrew had to shut him up several times and had to make an attempt at getting Jo’s number for him to get him to stop. Did he succeed? Kind of. He got Isaac to keep his mouth shut at the same time of almost revealing his feelings towards you. Some of the Attendants thought it was adorable to see an intern falling for a 5th year resident. It was cute.
“Alex, I bet they’ll date by the end of intern year,” Meredith Grey smirked, looking over at her friend in crime, even though not Cristina, still a friend in crime none the less.
The man chuckled none the less. “Mer, you’re delusional. He won’t tell her he likes her,” Alex Karev shrugged, motioning to the two of you. You both were currently having a conversation, and it was getting deeply serious.
“You two obviously need to get your eyes checked,” Amelia Shepherd pushed through the both of them. “(L/n) is going to tell him first. Guaranteed. That girl is full of steel.” She made her way towards the both of you, mainly towards you for a surgery. Alex and Meredith look at each other.
“Could she,” Meredith asked.
“Maybe,” Alex shrugged.
Though at the time, fate was undetermined on what would happen.

Andrew DeLuca Multi-Chapter Fanfic CH 22
Chapter 22: Thoughts Words: 269
Back to the current status of the situation, you, Jo, and Andrew stood awkwardly and tensely in the elevator. Trying to escape the silence, you prayed that the elevator would move faster… and it did. The doors open.
“Alright, well, see ya DeLuca,” Jo gave him a nod and wheeled you out.
“By Andrew,” You hummed.
The two of you went off to the cafeteria.
His name came out of your mouth like smooth butter. It was enchanting, enticing even. Andrew loved every minute of it. You getting his attention. You calling his name. You working closely with him. The jokes. The laughter. Every single thing was perfect. In his eyes… You were an angel sent to be his wingman or wing-girl, possibly his girlfriend or wife. He wanted that last word to actually happen one day, if he didn’t find the one before then.
He thought about his future with you outside the workplace. What would it be like? Dating. Going out places, just the two of you. Going to see things never seen before. Engagement. How he would propose to you. How he would ask you to the ‘The One’. Marriage. The wedding. You in that stunning dress. The chapel or wherever you decided to be at.
Sure, it was a lot, maybe he shouldn’t’ve thought about that, but he did. He did a lot. It was something he wanted to think about. It filled his mind for days. You’d get caught in his gaze and he wouldn’t stop. In surgery, he’d have to focus so that he wouldn’t be aloof.
Sometimes, his thoughts were too much.

Andrew DeLuca Multi-Chapter Fanfic CH 21
Chapter 21: Holding Her Back Words: 319
Why is (Y/n) single? How long has she been single? When ever did she have a boyfriend? Let’s travel back in time to (Y/n)’s last boyfriend. Scratch that, Fiancé.
It was 3 years prior. Her beginning of residency. She finally finished intern year and became a full resident at Grey Sloan. At the time, her fiancé was traveling around. She decided to move to Seattle to finish her medical studies, then return back home for her to travel around again. What she didn’t know was that this ‘Fiancé’ of her’s had been cheating on her for the past 8 months. They had been engaged for 6. They had been together for 2 and a half years.
Why did this all go wrong? It was simple. She was visiting him as a surprise for the holidays. She walked in, excited and everything, and finally, she walked in on him sleeping with another woman. Was it terrible? Yes, yes it was. Did she say anything? No. No, in fact, she didn’t say a word. She simply placed her ring down and grabbed her suitcase. She stayed at a hotel for the night and went back to Seattle the following morning. It WAS the holiday season. She spent Christmas in her apartment, drunk off her ass, and single in a sea full of happy couples. She didn’t say anything however.
When she returned back to work, people noticed her ring was gone, and thought that she simply forgot it. That day turned into weeks. Friends got concerned over her quietness and obedience towards her work. Her sudden switch to neurology made it a step too far. Jo was the first to ask about her series of unknown changes, but all (Y/n) replied was that she simply thought change was good towards the new year. It was then known she wasn’t engaged anymore.
She was single, and didn’t want anything holding her back.

Andrew DeLuca Multi-Chapter Fanfic CH 20
Chapter 20: Endless Words: 358
Andrew DeLuca’s thoughts were mixed between you and Sam Bello. Were there differences? Yes. You see, Andrew and Sam’s relationship had them ignore the friends they had around them, relying on each other to get where they need to go. With you and Andrew, though it was mainly platonic, you both were very… comfortable around each other. The two of you seemed close, but you also had other friends to lean on and talk to as well, not ignoring them like Sam and Andrew did. Their relationship, though loving, again, it was toxic.
-I think I've finally had enough I think I maybe think too much I think this might be it for us Blow me one last kiss
You think I'm just too serious I think you're full of shit My head is spinning, so Blow me one last kiss-
Pink’s words from her song, Blow Me One Last Kiss, described the relationship in Andrew’s words. Sam and Andrew had enough of each other. It was best for them. For (Y/n) and Andrew. Their relationship could be described as said earlier. Comfortable, but platonic.
Though, Andrew didn’t want them to be platonic, he wanted them to be more romantic than anything. He did put himself in the situation of the friendzone however. He approached her in a friendly way, and all she could ever possibly think of him was friendly. If only he knew her true feelings for him.
You thought he was quite handsome, even for being an intern. He was kind, thoughtful, many things. There was a lot to describe him as. Would you admit it? Yes. In front of him? No. Why not? You weren’t normally the one to make the first moves.
He thought you were incredibly beautiful in every shape or form you would take. He thought your wounds made you stronger, internal and external. You were quite adventurous with your words, but they were very wise none the less. It was easy for him to think of many words to describe you, there weren’t as few words as some other guys would describe their girls.
His choices of words were endless.

Andrew DeLuca Multi-Chapter Fanfic CH 19
Chapter 19: Find Out Words: 504
“Jo!”
“I’m helping you with movement, don’t worry,” The girl behind you giggled.
“We’re in the Neuro Wing. Do I want to ask why we’re here?”
“Let you see some brain patients. It won’t kill you.”
“It WILL kill me, physically and mentally. I’m not even supposed to be out here for this long. I only convinced the nurse to let me at least go to the cafeteria because she likes me! She likes me!!”
“Good. We’re gonna be there.”
“Jo,” You groaned and tilted your head back in aggravation.
“Now, now. Look! A patient! Ooh~!!” She moved you in front of hospital rooms. You rolled your eyes.
“Jo, can we move on now,” You asked.
“You’re grumpy. Normally you’d be for this stuff.”
“I’m HUNGRY!!”
“Alright, alright, I’ll get you something to eat.”
She rolled me to the elevator. I huffed, rolling my eyes.
“FINALLY!!”
We entered the elevator. I sat there patiently until the elevator stopped not on our floor. The doors opened. I stared.
“Huh? Hey DeLuca,” Jo grinned in your vision.
“Hmm? Oh, hey Wilson. Hey (Y/n),” Andrew looked between the two of you before walking in.
I can already feel awkward.
“Where’re you heading?”
“Hmm? To Dr. Webber. I have some labs for him.”
“Cool. Cool. We’re heading to the cafeteria.”
It was a quiet ride in the elevator. You bounced on the balls of your feet.
“I’m so excited.”
“Because they’re selling cake-.”
“THEY’RE SELLING CAKE!!”
“You don’t need cake.” You frowned, turning to Jo. “You really don’t.”
“I do,” I mumbled and narrowed my eyes.
“You’re so hyper.”
“I am! But guess what? I’m hyper for CAKE!!”
The doors opened. You both looked. “Oh! Hey Andrew,” You grinned.
“Hey, Wilson, (Y/n).”
Your grin was very bright, Andrew saw that.
The one thing that needs to be known about Andrew was that he always had a thing for you, since the two of you first met weeks ago. He never stated it, especially in front of Jo or in front of any of his fellow interns. He didn’t want to. He would have rather kept it to himself, remembering past relationships.
Andrew’s smile quivered at the thought of his most recent relationship when he was still studying before being an intern, Sam Bello. The relationship consumed him, the both of them, toxically. He didn’t want another one like that again. He decided it was best to wait… even though he couldn’t resist the charms of Dr. (Y/n) (L/n). There was something about her, something he seemed that he couldn’t get off his mind. It was odd, yes, but… there was just something drawn to him. He couldn’t leave it alone. He didn’t want to leave it alone.
“Andrew? You alright there?”
There you were, calling his name. It was smooth for him. Very smooth. Oh, he loved it too much. Love? Was he in love with you? He wasn’t sure. There was something that made him want to be pulled towards you.
Did he want to find out? Yes.
