Sara Farizan has been huge lately. Most people know her by "Tell Me Again How a Crush Should Feel" and she recently attended the boston book festival to speak about writing tough topics for teens. There are many other books about lesbian romance including The Last of Eden and Keeping you a Secret. These books generally aren't displayed obviously in book stores and they get little to no recognition, but they do exist. I suggest looking at lists of lesbian romance novels on google if anyone is interested.
