Gricel is an academic librarian and writer located in South Florida. Her professional interests include the intersection between leadership and organizational wellness, slow librarianship, and strategies to address burnout among library professionals. 

She earned her MLIS from the University of South Florida in 2011 and has nearly a decade of experience in library leadership, as well as extensive experience in public services, reference, and user engagement.
