It's totally valid to feel a deity is reaching out to you, but it's equally as valid for you to reach out to them. If there's a deity you feel drawn to, you don't have to wait until you see some sort of sign. You can go ahead and research them, make offerings, say prayers, etc. Of course, they can always respond that they're not interested, but you're allowed to make the first move if you want to.

why bother caring about the environment when 1. It’s so obviously a lost cause and 2. There’s definitely going to be a nuclear war?
And what are you doing about it Anon? Learn about ecological restoration or get out of my way.

So the last couple years I've made sets of blatantly gay Pride Norse designs (because fuck nazis and their appropriation of norse symbols) and this year I had you guys vote on which idea I drew first.
Y'all chose Odin's crows, Huginn and Muninn, and I finally finished a set!

(If there's a particular pride flag you wish to see with this design that I haven't made yet, always feel free to send me a request!) Like always, I’ve got the full-res designs hosted on my Ko-fi as free downloads for anyone who wishes to use them. Print them on a shirt, make yourself stickers, use on gifts for others- whatever.
I also have them available on Threadless for those who don’t want to or can’t print them on stuff themselves but still want something with the design on it. Each sale will also make an automatic donation to one or more of several related LGBT+ charities.
I’ll be making the Thor Bindrune designs next, and probably the Jörmungandr design I mentioned after that, so stay tuned for those. (Idk if I'll have time to finish them all before the end of Pride month- but hey, better late than never, right? lol) Hope you like these, and happy Pride!

An American's Prayer for June 14
Tyr, may your justice strike the hearts of the cruel and warm the souls of those who refuse bigotry’s call.
Thor, may your might break the resolve of the hateful and empower those simply hoping to work and provide.
Frigge, may your passion burn away the cowardice of bystanders and rekindle any fury and hope that has been lost.
Odin, may your will overpower that of our oppressors and usher in a better future for all of Midgard’s children.
May the gods guide us, may our deeds free us, may our oaths keep us, may our ancestors aid us always. May the gods’ blessings be upon our heads.
---
Whatever form of protest you feel called to enact this weekend or in the future, please stay as safe as you can with these tips and these reminders. You are loved and you are not alone.

The tribes of Tumblr appeared to worship Apollo as their primary patron deity, most often under the epithet Apollo Spairahemon ("Apollo the Ball-Thrower") as a god of prophecy and sport. His name was typically invoked to celebrate a user blessed with uncommon prescience. Moments of prophecy were considered highly sacred and were often recorded, and such texts are sometimes accompanied by an artistic depiction of the god — either his traditional masculine image or, unusually, in the form of a young woman, which appears to have been an earlier style before a conservative shift toward more conventional iconography — preparing to cast a round rubber ball that our scholars believe was used in the sport known as "dodge ball". Much as other cults regarded his arrows as bringers of disease and health, this community believed that being struck by this ball would bestow prophetic visions.
Some icons are reproduced below:

An earlier depiction (c. 2020) of Apollo as a girl clad in a simple tunic and playing with other children. Figures are smiling and the image is brightly colored, indicating a celebratory outlook toward knowledge of the future.
A later piece (c. 2022) that resembles the traditional appearance of Apollo. References to childhood and play are omitted, and the god carries a more frightening aspect; perhaps this icon represented grim omens rather than good tidings.

My dog's really a study in Buddhism. He can see my muffin wrapper and he's miserable. Crying. He needs to eat my muffin wrapper so bad.
I get up and throw it away. He forgets about it immediately and happily goes to sleep.
You are not sad because you do not have a muffin wrapper, my beautiful boy, you are sad because you want the muffin wrapper.

Hot take I know,
If I have to pay you money, to learn anything about magic or spirits. Then i genuinely do not care what you have to say. If I can’t hypothetically access this information through a public library then it’s genuinely not something I care about. When your “secrets” from the gods is behind a 12, 30, 100 dollar paywall, I am just going to assume it’s not worth my time, OR worse you are a scammer.
Anyone can talk to spirits, anyone can learn tarot, anyone can pick up a book on the celts, galls, Roman’s, Greeks etc. Anything special about us, is a shared specialness,
No Singular person, is more spiritual, more ‘awakened’ and/or more magical than any other.

I made a mini rune reference booklet for myself! This is just meant to be a quick and dirty way to look at interpretations while I’m giving readings in person. Don’t mind the burn mark… let’s just say me and the lighter don’t get along sometimes 😅
