How is the mun doing? Are they feeling alright?

I seem to have misplaced my previous icons, but mun is fine! And alive, but for the most part I just haven’t really been motivated to do much rping anymore. Which sucks, ‘cause I love the Undertale fandom (and my silly ocs).

But I’ve mostly taken to lurking and popping on once in awhile to check in on things. So yeah. Sorry to worry you, anon!

Hiatus.

I haven’t been very active lately, considering I keep doing the disappearing thing. For whatever reason, I just don’t have the motivation to really jump into things or do stuff with any of my rp blogs ( @frczenbeats included). At least, not to the extent that I used to.

So I think for right now, I’m just... going to put this blog and Con’s on hiatus. I might pop in on occasion to respond to IMs and the occasional ooc-related ask, but other than that I dunno when I’ll get back to the rp shenanigans.

Sorry for disappearing again. Ended up getting pretty dang sick for a good few days after I typed that post awhile back ago.

Dunno how active I’ll generally be, but I’ll try to pop up every now and again and do some things here and there. I’m always some kind of reachable through IMs, 'course, but until my muse stops being unpredictable I might be lurking more than rping for awhile (silly lil one-liners and short paragraphs aside).

At least with Grim’s blog, anyway.

That said, I’m off to sleep ‘cause it’s late and I’m tired.

Seeing his bite didn’t hit the target he swerved rapidly on the place and launched himself again towards Grimmy. He charged a very powerful punch with his strength boost magic.

The canine wasn’t thinking straight anymore…his only thought was to punch that fox to death. A very menacing growl escaped from his troath.

It would make sense that this canine would be an adequate fighter - most monsters that were on the royal guard had to have some kind of skill or merit to be able to hold their own. Seeing one in action, though, was something entirely different for her.

Though it was true that Grim herself had a lot of fighting experience, most of them had involved very inexperienced drunks or overly confident thugs looking for a fight - and often was easily settled by a few well placed hits from her bottlecaps. But this guy was a warrior - a soldier with physical strength that greatly outmatched her own. Which is why her best bet right now, was to try and continue to stay out of his range while she tried to wear him down.

She had expected him to continue attacking, which is why the moment she heard movement behind her, the fox's head jolted to the side to make an attempt to avoid the punch.

HP: 295 / 500

Only to give a loud yelp when he clipped the side of her head, and a loud ringing followed. She was quickly darting away from him in reaction, but it didn't take much for her to recognize that hit hurt. An arm swung down to send another line of bottlecaps in his direction - like bullets from an imaginary firearm, as her other hand cupped her ear and bared her teeth.

She might actually have to put more effort into trying to kill him, instead of incapacitating him like she originally planned, if this battle went on for any longer. Otherwise, she wasn’t going to last dancing around him like this.

She shifts her head to stare over at him, then, as one hand twirled casually in the air to add some sort of flavor to her words. "Unless I'm wrong, of course."

Hey, cool kids. (I ramble a lot.)

First off, sorry for disappearing again. Fell into a hardcore lack of motivation for awhile, and kinda just wanted to chill out. ‘Cause, well, trying to focus on rping gets difficult for me after awhile - which is dumb because I do enjoy it. 

That said, I’m most likely going to drop all threads and do a clean slate thing. Both on here and @frczenbeats - unless there’s something in particular that you guys wanted to continue. Generally speaking though, it’s getting to the point where I have to fight my muses just to get anything out of them.

Which is why I’ve been considering the idea of becoming a lot more selective/private about who I rp with (mainly because of how flaky I’ve been lately). That, or taking a break from rping and just switching to art-related things and possibly fleshing both characters out a bit more. Like doing silly comics of Grim and co. to kind of make up for the lack of rping for awhile (with other people’s characters popping in occasionally).

I feel like I kind of mentally flail around, too, without any kind of solid development to things - but then again tumblr tends to be a bit more confusing than forums or dreamwidth ever was. Not that I mind it - there’s a lot more freedom to do your own thing. But sometimes it’s nice to have a lil story underneath it all to tie things together.

Or maybe I just need to learn to plot with people more, ‘unno. Plot/Story-driven RPs tend to hold my interest a lot more than random threads, truth be told. Which could be why I have so much trouble keeping focus as of late. 

Auuugh, I really don’t know though. At least with art, I’ll be able to keep this blog active - and could just RP with Con’s blog for awhile. Since he tends to be a bit more forgiving about doing threads than Grim is. 

But yeah, who knows.

20 ways to draw a more consistent character

1. Draw the most common appearance for your character. This is your comfort zone. (Color)

2. Draw your character from the front, the side, and the back. This is something called a ‘turn sheet’. It’s a little boring to do, but will be very helpful to you in the future to have on hand.

3. Draw your character from the front, the side, and the back, but have them in nothing but their undies at most. This is to show off how your character is built. Drawing nothing but a straight pant-leg with no structure under it is no way to learn! (Skip this if your character doesn’t wear clothes)

4. Draw your character at three different ages than they currently are. (Must be noticeably different. No ages: 4, 5, and 6, etc.) Color one of them.

5. BANG! Your character just heard a loud noise right behind them. Draw their reaction!

6. Draw a bird’s eye view of your character.

7. Draw your character feeling very happy. Show body language.

8. Draw your character feeling very angry. Ditto.

9. Draw your character feeling very sad. You know the drill.

10. Draw your character with a different body type than they usually have. This helps you map distinguishing features onto different ‘templates’.

11. Draw your character if they were the opposite gender.

12. Draw your character as a different species than they normally are.

13. Somebody has just handed your character a live duck. Draw their reaction. Keep them in character.

14. Mary Sue the HELL out of your character. (Due to being asked “What is Mary Sue?” several times, I have included a link to the evil that is Sue: [Click if you dare.]

15. Draw your character lifting something heavy. (no magic allowed!)

16. Draw your character in an opposite role than they appear in your story/continuity.

17. Draw your character doing something they enjoy.

18. Draw your character doing something they do NOT enjoy.

19. Draw your character in a dynamic pose that is not a profile shot (from the side).

20. Draw the most common appearance for your character. Color it. (Pssst! See if it improved from the first one you drew. I bet it did!)
