PRIME ASSET OC - IVAN KASLOV

Ivan Kaslov was born in 1926 into a very wealthy Russian family, a prestigious line of musicians and so naturally he learned music from a young age, he began performing when he was a child, extremely skilled in most areas of musical instruments but mainly the violin. He became extremely well renowned and would go on to perform for the Soviet Army to provide morale for the soldiers.

Ivan never experienced anything traumatic in his childhood however people did notice he displayed worrying characteristics, but nothing was ever taken too seriously as they were usually overlooked as Ivan was mostly too busy performing or practicing music to ever do anything too extreme.

Ivan was extremely obsessed with the idea of perfection in his performance, and in his twisted mind, reasoned that the end of a person's life was the most beautiful thing to use in his performance, his families influence caused many to continue to overlook any strange occurances or disappearances (which caught Murkoffs interest as they were still searching for PA'S) that happened to people near Kaslov so the public never really knew about Ivan's ideas of performance, especially because he moved to America to perform in New York and so those who did have suspicions about him in Russia no longer surrounded his every move. He continued to play in America until one night when he played to a sold out theatre (which included Clyde Perry in the crowd as he was investigating him) his "new peice" which was essentially people's screams moments before their death, that he caused on stage by slitting their throats after causing excruciating pain. This then caused an outrage and so he was institutionalised since he was deemed insane.

While institutionalised a lobotomy was attempted on him but it failed when they were unable to properly sedate him and he continued to thrash around until they damaged his eye, which is why one (his left) displays anisocoria.

Ivan was eventually released into Murkoffs custody after Clyde Perry had deemed he was still functional after the attempted lobotomy.

These are the characters intended for my concept of a new facility (see previous post) which focuses on the rich and powerful rather than poor and vulnerable in society.

Characters in pictures above are Ivan Kaslov then Lazlo Sterling.

Theatre/Auditorium Trials

The Prime Asset for this trial is Ivan Kaslov, he is a former Russian performer for the Soviet Army as well as in general a performer (backstory on him in next post) Weapon is an adapted violin bow which has a spike at an end as well as reinforced string to use for slitting and slicing.

Ex-pop in his trial: Possibly a ( french?) Ballerina, found only in the women's changing room behind stage , she attacks recklessly using rings that have spikes going around them as well as into her fingers.

Restaurant/Butcher shop Trials

The prime asset is Lazlo Sterling, nicknamed "butcher", he was and still is a very charismatic guy, able to talk his way into being the chef for many of the aristocrats parties. Weapon is a meat cleaver as he used to be a butcher since it was his family business.

Ex-pop in his trial: An Italian waiter who is only found in the restaraunt, he attacks using a broken champagne bottle.

Casino/Streets Trials

The Prime Asset is a very sleezy former casino owner, still developing him so he doesn't have any concept art yet but there is a vague idea around him.

Ex-Pop for his trial: A card dealer found only in the casino pit, his weapon is a rake that has had the ends sharpened for more damage.

There is also a Photographer ex-pop: Can appear in any trial, he would come out of the monster closet much like a pusher or pitcher but more so while reagents are doing tasks and will try to capture a picture of them doing the task as to use as blackmail against the reagents, but the Photographer also stuns the reagents for a few seconds after taking a picture due to the extreme flash.

Random notes:

Trial specific ex-pops are only found in one specific area and won't move from there unless provoked, mainly to add difficulty to doing the tasks. While the PA'S can roam much more freely.

Chef guys first trial would be called "Eat The Rich" and it would have something along the lines of having the reagents slaughter, cook and serve a human.

Waiter ex-pop calls everyone "my friend" as a greeting and does this still with reagents when he sticks them in the neck with a broken bottle.

CONCEPT OF A NEW FACILITY FOR OUTLAST TRIALS.

Hayden Facility is an expansion of the experiments that occurred in the original Sinyala facility, also located within Arizona near the grand canyon, specifically under Mount Hayden.

Because of the current unsettled nature of America due to it being the Cold War era, it made it easier for Murkoff to be able to get away with their crimes without the general public knowing and also because of their ties with the US government. Well Hayden Facility would be focusing on the government side/politics side to this all, which is understandably a large part of the entire operation going on at Murkoff.

Now I'm going out on a limb here and saying even though the rich were corrupt, Murkoff didn't have blackmail over all of them and there's probably a large portion who they didn't have a upper hand over despite investigation and so Hayden Facility was made to essentially stop these loose ends, since there's only so many people who can be tortured/killed in a single facility before the general public starts to wonder where all their senators went.

Instead of kidnapping and taking advantage of the poor and destitute of society, Hayden Facility would focus on the higher-ups in society who had influential power but weren't under Murkoff's thumb. The Facility was designed to break down the peoples psychological state and mold them into what Murkoff needed to continue their operations without interruption. This was done by removing all luxuries from the rich , stripping them from all they had, humiliating and shaming them until their psyches were broken and they were conditioned into what Murkoff needed and thus 'rebirthed' and released into society to do Murkoffs bidding.

This facility would be structured similarly to Sinyala facility, with Ex-population, Prime Assets and Trials to carry out the conditioning of those who were taken to the facility. However the trials would focus much more heavily on what the wealthy used to enjoy, trying to demonize what they liked so much, e.g. food, theatre, gambling.

I have an idea for him to essentially be Franco’s ‘errand boy’ in the trials by his and Franco’s own belief, not Easterman assigning him or anything… I have a small post on Wilber a while back with some details but the Franco thing is just me entertaining myself. Not actually canon to Wilber’s story…yet…
