The hero’s hands tracked up the villain’s bare thighs, pinching and scraping as they went. “Tell me what I want to know, and I’ll let you have what you want. I’m generous like that.”

The villain keened high behind their teeth, hating the way their limbs twitched eagerly, hating their panting and breathy moans. “Let me-” they groaned, cutting themself off as the hero sucked a hickey into the meat of their thigh. “Let me f-finish first, and I’ll tell you everything.”

The hero hummed, honeyed and petty and far far too attractive in their own bastard way. “Hmm, as tempting as that offer is, I’m afraid it doesn’t work like that, gorgeous. My bed, my rules.”

“I’m not sure- I mean, I never-”

The villain’s fingers froze on their shirt buttons. “Is that a no? We don’t have to do this if undressing is a no for you.”

“No! No, I mean, it’s a yes, it’s fine, I’m just…nervous.” They shrugged helplessly. “I’ve never…you know, done this. Before.”

“I can work with that.” The villain dropped their hands, then tugged the hero’s fingers up to the fastenings of their own suit. “How about you undress me first? Might help ease your nerves if I go first.”

“I told you not to hurt them!” The villain’s snarl ripped across the battlefield, turning all eyes to the henchman cowering before them.

“Boss, I’m sorry, I-”

“They’re a child, goddammit! What the fuck is wrong with you?!”

“I still don’t believe you, there’s no way you’ve actually changed sides! There’s just no reason for it!”

“Yeah,” said the ex-villain, barely resisting the urge to roll their eyes, “no reason at all.” It’s not like they were in desperately, hopelessly in love with the hero or anything. No siree.

“Did you just…say you love me?”

Had they said that out loud? Ah, shit.

“You look nice enough, but so does [supervillain] and they’re a murderous bastard, so excuse me for not taking you at face value.”

“Tell me who did this. Was it [vigilante], [thief], another villain?” Their eyes narrowed. “Was it your boss? If [hero] did this I swear to god I’ll-” The villain cut themself off before they scared the kid with overt threats of violence. “Tell me who hurt you, and I’ll deal with them.”

“Or,” the kid replied quietly, “you could sit here with me and give me a hug? Just for a little while?”

Oh. Oh. Now that was one request they hadn’t planned for.

“Well…this is awkward.”

“Yeah, sharing a blanket with my nemesis isn’t exactly great for my pride.”

“No, I mean we, uh, we should probably get naked. These wet clothes are going to kill us faster than the embarrassment will.”

“Oh. Right. Well then.”

“And you’re leaving them with…me?”

The hero–their sworn nemesis–could only offer a shrug and a wry smile. “You love them almost as much as I do. There’s no force on earth that could convince you to stand aside if danger comes for my kid. I trust you to look after them, weird as that is.”

“And…why now? Where are you going, that requires you to leave them behind?”

Something like fear shone in the hero’s eyes, but they masked it quickly. Too quickly. “’fraid that’s hero business, need-to-know only. You know how it is.”

The villain hummed lightly, dangerously. That was the only warning the hero got.

They fixed their nemesis with a disbelieving look. “You want us to hold hands?!”

“Uh oh,” they tutted, a smug smile tugging at their lips. “[Hero] isn’t going to be happy when they find out about this.”

“I’m in the right,” spat the vigilante, hating the shame that flushed in their cheeks. “The ends justify my methods, and [hero]’s opinion is irrelevant to me.”

“Oh, is that so? Funny, with that hero-worship complex you’ve got going on I rather thought it was the most relevant reason for your little…activities.”

The older hero clapped their younger counterpart on the shoulder. “Cheer up kid, it happens to all of us.”

“But I just told [villain] that he’s hot! I want to die of embarrassment-”

“As I said, we’ve all done it–there’s something about his dulcet tones and understanding manner that draws everyone in. He’s used to it by this point.”

Consider... Grimm's eyes doing the Thing. Hes grumpy and hissy until he sees ichigo and then just. Dumbass mode engaged. Big dumb dilated eyes, purrs, a lil smile. Someone teases him and he SLAPS THEM. "Oh my god you ARE a cat". And then he poofs up.

oh god this big angry cat is so in love ichigo come pick your catboy bf up and give him chin rubs before he scratches someone's face off

Ichigo Kurosaki- black tiger of the Urahara clan, also known as Mugetsu-- is a retired visored who left the clan when his girlfriend was murdered the day their son was born. Eight years later, he is called back to the family when a friend of his fathers 18 year old son- Grimmjow Jaegerjaques- becomes the target of a rival family.

Bonus points if- Grimmjow is the uke and ichigo is quite violent

Ichigo gives.

He gives, and gives, and gives, and gives. His love, his skills, his flesh and blood, and when that is not enough he prepares to give his soul. 

Aizen takes.

He takes, and takes, and takes, and the Hogyoku hates it. The Hogyoku is not meant to take. It is meant to give, wish-giver, world-builder. 

“Wish”, it whispers, Aizen’s hand on Ichigo’s heart.

“I don’t want this,” Ichigo thinks.  "I have nothing left to give.“

”Wish,“ it demands. 

”I want to fix this,“ Ichigo begs.

(More than a hundred years in the past, Starrk finds a human-hollow-shinigami boy face-down in the sand.)

Its Demon Child Time

Ok not really Demon Child?

More of AU where Masaki and Isshin cant see or sense spirits and so dont realize that their son is A) possessed/haunted by a 6'something demon cat man and B) is maybe something not entirely human himself.

To be fair, theres nothing really wrong with Ichigo. Hes just. A little off.

Too smart. His smile is too big. Sometimes he stares at the middle distance like there’s actually something there. Sometimes he talks to himself, full and fully-emoted conversations.

Sometimes he giggles and it echoes just a little too well.

Sometimes his bullies suffer unfortunate…. Accidents.

(Hospital unfortunate. Ichigo gets really upset when grimmjow kills ppl)

Sometimes when Isshin is at work masaki comes upstairs to see ichigo hovering in the air squealing with laughter, but theres nothing holding him.

She quietly closes the door and goes looking for a bottle of wine.

Grimmjow is ready to protect ichigo and Ichigo’s family from everything. But that day…

He kills the Grand Fisher.

It was never the Grand Fisher that killed Masaki.

loses it

now its demon child. Pintsized vasto lorde.

Cant take him to HM, thats where aizen is.

Cant take him home, isshin wont let ichigo anywhere near the girls.

Kisuke takes them in. because hes always had a soft heart because theyve invested too much into ichigo to give up on the boy now.

An ichigo raised by Kisuke and Yoruichi and, most of all, by Grimmjow

A little bloodthirsty genius who’s whole idea of protecting his things is to kill the enemy before it can even lift its head.

A tiny Human-Hollow-Shinigami-Quincy who grows up knowing what he is, knowing that he was intentional. He was wanted, even if it wasnt for the reason children should be wanted.

(Ichigo brings Orihime back bc he knows how it feels to lose your Pack. Hes not trying to replace that, but. He wasnt alone. She shouldnt be either.)

(Ichigo brings Uryu home because he knows what it feels like to be driven out of your den. Hes not demanding, but. No one should have to sleep out in the cold.)

(Ichigo brings Chad home bc he knows that some people just arent meant to fight. Thats ok. Ichigo will fight for him. Ichigo will fight for everyone.)

(Grimmjow stakes out karakura town as his territory. Hes got a pack now, his fraccion and kisuke and yoruichi and jinta and ururu(?)(and starrk and lilynette when they show up), but, also, hes got whelps now. Four of them. And no shinigami, no hollow, no Quincy bastard is going to take that from him.)

Aizen is about to have

a very bad day.

(Yhwach is about to have a worse one.)
