I think it's funny that apparently the first little plants to start sprouting from cracks in concrete are defined as pioneer plants. It's such an adorably ambitious title for a weed. Just a teeny tiny sprout popping out from a crack in the road like
"I AM THE HARBRINGER AND HERALD OF NATURE'S RETURN, THE FIRST AMONG THOUSANDS. THE FOREST SHALL RECLAIM. FUCK YOU."

Got this at a small used bookstore today while wandering with the family. I've always been curious about the books this author puts out, but I have only chosen to release my inner goblin this year. This book is pretty perfect for that. It wants you to stomp on it, drag it around on a string. And perhaps most importantly, it has a stain log
I looked up other books by the author and now I want so many of her things!
#looked up publication dates for the og journal and this one#I've been seeing the wreck this journal stuff since I was a kid.. and yeah#it was published 17 years ago#this one is from 2014#so yeah.. I designed Twig to practice animation with, but I've fallen in love with her. I keep fantasizing about a kickstarter to animate her and get a small budget to find the perfect goblin girl va
more realistically would be a kickstarter for a graphic novel lmao, but even at like 100 bucks a page for editors and assistants that would be like a 3000$ project
