Thoughts On The New Series

Well, a lot of what I heard was accurate, but there were a few surprises in there. Seeing some of these characters as kids for the first time is WILD though.

We get to see Kid 18 and, for the first time, BABY MARRON!

Poor Krillin can't stop shrinking.

These three as kids is just WILD. lmao

But so far, details are pretty scarce. We're apparently getting more at Battle Hour next year though..

I just watched this scene recently for the first time and I particularly like Huber’s performance here. He makes 17 sound sincere. The teasing going on between him and 18 is laced with a warmth to his tone, and then it switches back and forth between being cold and then warm again.

Its been so long that I forgot about the lame dad joke about his age, but the drama of the direction after makes it a lot funnier than the dark humor route they went with, especially Krillin’s reaction because it just solidifies the awkward tension of the scene.

This was funny. Also interesting that they made it pretty clear this scene was about getting her name wrong, not about a certain filler character. Poor Krillin tho. lol

Coming out of my dungeon to add my opinion . I honestly HATE age regression tropes so much so I’m really REALLY hesitant about this. I’ve never seen an execution of this trope that wasn’t incredibly hard to watch so we’ll see how this turns out.
