INFP. She/her. 25. #RenewTheSociety. This used to be a the society blog (as the @ indicates) but cancelation got me changing paths towards whatever i’m hyper-fixated at the moment basically lmao. This is not my main so it’s usually anime stuff that I’m into. Used to be BrallieFosterss, my old posts are still up and I’m always down to talk about The Fosters (and the society!).

Hey do y'all remember several years ago when we were all freaking out about net neutrality being overturned? Well despite net neutrality's win in 2024, a federal court just overturned it.
For those who aren't aware, net neutrality is the simple principle that companies like Verizon and Comcast should treat all web traffic equally – not pick and choose based on who is willing to pay more or who they like best. Big Tech companies obviously don’t like that – which is why they spent millions lobbying against it over the years.
Now, these megacorporations will be able to seize control back over our Internet. The likely result? Throttled access to streaming services, monopolistic pricing that cuts out competition, and a slower, walled off, and less free Internet for all of us.
And unfortunately, rulings like this will only get more common now that the Supreme Court has overturned the “Chevron deference” – giving judges, rather than qualified public servants, a blank check to toss out protections like net neutrality, environmental safeguards, or food safety standards.
When Trump’s FCC repealed net neutrality back in 2017, they gave big corporations total control over our Internet – putting free and open access at risk.
Internet providers responded by exploiting their newfound power to speed up certain websites, and slow down – or even block – others. They failed to provide crucial Internet infrastructure in rural areas, low-income communities, and communities of color. They even slashed firefighters’ Internet access during severe wildfires.
But over 126,000 people spoke out and we were able to reinstate net neutrality – until now.
The time has come again to take action: please sign this petition from Common Cause so we can reinstate net neutrality.

Starting to read seasons of blossom (love it) and getting into the second arc (Hamin’s). Kinda debating right now. I know Hamin commits suicide, and personally I have been grieving the last month because less than a month ago (well, a month ago now) my cousin committed suicide. Someone who while i didn’t talk with or see daily I loved very much. So i’m going into the story calmly but im thinking either its going to help me with the grieving process, or destroy me. If someone knows the story, let me know if you think this is something that would bring catharsis or if its something someone dealing with stuff shouldn’t read.
Mind you thats not at all why i went into this story i just wanted a romance manwha😭
Edit: absolutely no replies on time and i kept reading. Im sobbing so much but it didn’t make me spiral (thank god). Im thinking of my cousin’s partner who she lived with. I’m thinking of her younger sister, who she was like a mother to when her parents weren’t really parents. Im thinking many things that I won’t post at a random tumblr post. Mostly i’m thinking about how even in fiction for Hamin things sometimes can be so fucking unfair.
If anyone is struggling, reach out. If you see this and you are struggling and don’t know where to reach out, my messages are open. Sometimes is easier to talk to strangers. I promise even if you really don’t think so, someone out there will miss you so much. So reach out. The pain is never forever, but your absence is.

MmmmMmmmm read chap 104 of how to get my husband on my side (manwha) and idk if i like the change from the novel????? This is the only change i dislike so far but idk how to feel about it
On one hand im glad its not a whole chapter of constant torture for Rubi, in the novel while she was standing up for herself it also sort of felt like she was still very much suicidal and just didn’t care even after her realization of deep love for Izek. I do like that in this manwha she’s not as careless but rather firm in what she is saying. She’s not laughing manically ready to die because she actually wants to spend her life with Izek. She’s sure on herself and simply telling him, no manic energy in it, that she’ll do everything in her power to fuck Cesar’s life if he kidnaps her AND makes it clear what he has comes from a feeling of inferiority and a power trip rather than love.
HOWEVER at the same time he barely touched her. The big moment in this chapter was everyone, including the og fl, realizing the rumors about incest and even the kiss they saw was rooted in a very violent abuse. An abuse mind you that the manwha hasn’t shy away from before this chapter (so why now?). It was a big reveal to see Rubi both stand her ground but also be almost killed for it. Having all the characters eat their words and realized rumors affected their judgement. Here Rubi was only pushed?????? They don’t really see the extent of her abuse??????? How she’s not really the precious princess???? Izek has seen it but not the others. Also it IS important for the rest of the story too how injured Rubi gets. She 1) needs help walking towards the dragon afterwards but can’t even see properly. 2) was unconscious many days afterwards which leads to her being taken care of and for the King and Duke (izek’s father) to be aware they truly have to politically react because they can’t brush it all to the side. Like feelings aside what happened was so violent and left such an after mark that they are FORCED to react politically.
Also og fl is so traumatized by the scene that while she doesn’t want to apologize she knows she has to. It sort of breaks reality for her (and her brother) but its also what made her connect to Rubi’s good brother (Enzo). (Only thing i do hope they change from the novel is that Enzo lives. I truly was upset he died. He truly cared for Rubi and she herself said thats the only person she considers family even without being sure he loved her. But he assured her he did). And ALSO Rubi being so violently hurt its also what causes Enzo to realize she was abused because he had no idea AND Rubi realizes Enzo had no idea and actually cares for her (because she thought he sort of knew but was indifferent about it).
Also everyone reacting to the scene and freezing BEFORE Izek attacks Cesar was also important??????? Rubi herself sees it before the attack happens.
Its just??? Underwhelming???? Its the culmination of the entire story even if it isn’t the last battle. Its when everything gets exposed and EVERYONE’S perspective changes, especially after they were disgusted by the kiss. Izek’s sister also realizes shit and not only feels guilt but truly starts to realize mental health issues Rubi shared with her mom are not something that primary hurts those around them, but they come from a place of deep hurt. Seeing the extent of Rubi’s trauma in a way makes her reflect of her own mom even if the mom didn’t share said trauma. Is seeing the physical representation of the hurt.
Like I didn’t want the chapter to be trauma porn at all, but even if they had skipped it and made it short, Rubi should have been a lot more hurt and we should have seen everyone’s reaction before Izek’s attack. There wasn’t even blood.

I don’t have a bato account but i need people who are reading the manga reborn as the character that never existed to know that Yan was not actually fucking adopted by Tilly’s family. Stop making him and Liona sound like incest. HES NOT FAMILY. HE HASNT EVEN MET HER UNTIL THR LATER CHAPTERS. If anything age gap its whats weird but i don’t think the romance will start yet.
Again, Tilly refers to Yan as her brother because she loved him like so. He was never actually adopted 🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊 Aegis also refers to Yan as his brother. BECAUSE THEY LOVE HIM LIKE SO. HE IS NOT ACTUALLY ANY OF THEIR BROTHER.

GUYS I DON’T THINK YOU UNDERSTAND HOW ILL THE FORGER FAMILY MAKES ME.
They are a family made entirely of orphans. They were all lonely and suffering, just in different ways. Loid never had a true identity or a true life or relationship, Yor has never been able to make proper connections because of her job and feeling like an outcast because of it, Anya being in an orphanage and constantly abandoned by the families who adopted her. They were all so lonely and empty with no love and then they FOUND EACH OTHER.
They MADE A HOME.
Their family may be fake but their love is real.
Loid completely lost his normal calm attitude because someone made Anya cry. Yor has nearly killed men for Anya, who she is constantly worried she will never be enough for. Yor wants to be the perfect housewife for Loid because she sees how much he works and she wants him to rest easy. Loid takes the family out on outings when they seem stressed as a way for them all to recharge with one another. Loid saw that Yor seemed miserable (she was shot in the butt) and he thought she was just unhappy, so his immediate instinct was to take her out on a date.
He is so beyond “just for the mission”. He loves his family. Not to mention Anya! She loves her new parents. She loves training with Yor and she adores doing things with Loid. Loid literally rented a castle to play make believe for her. The scene where they watched the fireworks together?!?! GUYS. HE LOVES HIS FAMILY. HE JUST DOESN’T WANT TO ADMIT IT.

They are THE found family

It almost felt like a goodbye kiss.
this was a commission for the lovely @whateversawesome and a scene from chapter 14 of their fic Love Is... !
it's not often i have a dialogue-free comic, so focusing on the movement and body language here was really fun. thank you again for commissioning me! :D

Oh. That was when it clicked for Yor. She knew this: the hollow aching in your chest, the near permanent dread that made eating a chore, the way all your muscles seemed to perpetually be tensed. It was the fear of the impermanent, the vulnerable.
the great thing about writing and drawing is i can draw what i write and write what i draw >:)
(this is then and now chapter 8)
