While she didn't intentionally seek out trouble, some judgement calls landed her in places where she didn't even know her own being was at risk. Places that her dear uncle figure worked from the shadows to ensure she walked away untouched.

HER DESIRE FOR HIM TO BE HER UNDOING ... That alone made the moment rather soft despite the lingering death that continued to dine on both their hearts. A part of him wishes to take the gluttonous bite into her flesh --- Feel the blood that calls for him. [ her heart sang to him, the little rhythm that had his ears humming. ] Content in her answer, he manifested before her, the touch of her hand upon his made him lean forward with a gentle yet flowing motion. ❛ Perhaps your last breath is the last thing I will take from you. ❜ He whispers against her lips, now that his hand has gone to gently grasp her neck.

❛ I may just claim you now, so no one can steal your final anything. ❜ Alucard whispered, desiring to see her reaction as his voice echoed around them. ❛ Your death sounds so hypnotic, so forbiddenly tempting. ❜

His nose nuzzles against her forehead as he grins wider. ❛ Good, that means no one will come for you when I decide to take you away; When will that be? I will let you ponder that. ❜ A promise that would be wise not to shy away from.

"I'm afraid I cannot argue with that. It would be most unfortunate if I were to become your prey, though I must admit that it would be one Hell of a way to go...for both of us," Chitose replies, holding her ground as the No Life King looms over her. Engulfed in the darkness, she searches for him but soon realizes he's all around her. Gloved fingers brush against her painted lips and she closes her eyes.

"What other options do I have? I certainly don't want to be eaten, though I think I trust you enough to show restraint if you were to drain some of my blood."

Her hands rest atop of his and she opens her eyes, searching for him. "I'm afraid you won't find such people in my life, for they're already dead. I walk this earth alone. Same as you."

HE CONTINUES TO CHEW ON HIS WRIST NOW; Watching him bounce in delight, much like a sadistic child would when they burned their playset down. [ quite a fitting sight for a monster. ] Ah, but what was Alucard to judge the beast that was generous enough to offer him a piece of his own flesh & blood? He hums in the middle of loud, vicious chewing before swallowing a chunk full.

Throwing his head back to ease the meat in, he only chuckles at the words of his wife. ❛ I believe I will be just fine. ❜ Alucard confirms, looking back at the demon as he sits down upon the ground before the wicked creature's throne.

❛ In fact, I would expect no less from someone who eludes such powerful force. I look forward to it; & I shall not kill her. Both your hospitality toward my presence multiple times has proven to me that I have no need to. ❜

and a dramatic gasp from upper moon two, “w–wow—!! nobody’s ever called my flesh rare before!!” a clap of hands in a display of emphasized cheerfulness, skipping from one foot to the other — what a carefree idiot. 

and then, mention of his wife immediately caught his attention, “hmm, that’s a tough question.”

“she might get competitive about the whole thing — maybe even challenge you to a fight. that’s kinda her thing, making sure you’re worthy to partake something she sees as special,” and then, a smile, “so uh, if you’re okay with that…?”

Though blood is what paints her flesh, she cannot help but call to him; --- & the more she spilled, the more often he would appear. He truly was haunting her, or hunting her, both would fit the habit in which the vampire wipes at the blood on her cheek, chuckling at the mess she made of herself.

❛ Do you fear losing me, Chitose? ❜ Came his question as he moved to hold her properly in his arms, content with how lost she seemed at the moment of her weakness. [ how breathtaking. ] She calls to his chaos, thus he arrives upon her sacrificial summoning.

Rain drizzled above from the swarming clouds, beating steadily against the soil. Cicadas chirped. Blood from a fresh massacre has been spilt tonight, the mangled bodies laid strewn about the forest floor. She was nestled amidst the carnage, exhausted,  but at least she wasn’t alone to weather this dreary deluge. In the end, Alucard had come to her aide when she called. 

As he loomed over her, his face hovering over hers, what rain that met his lashes fell to meet her lips. Always overworking herself, wasn’t she? To the marrow? To the bone? It wasn’t until he asked his question that Chitose awoke, gasping softly.

“it’s no problem at all~!” pain was nothing to him, after all, “i’ve always thought my flesh and blood tasted kinda weird — i take sake baths, for context.”

When approached, she smiles and holds up one she had decorated to almost resemble a bee. "They're bookmarks! Youse can put them on tha corners of yer pages an' such. I. . .kinda made a lot. Tha paper was so pretty. . ."

HIS STEPS OFTEN WARRANT A SHRILL OF FEAR. Many knew of his legacy, & what his namesake brought onto them. Monsters were to be eliminated, man treated as a divine being [ only the strong. ] However ... Nicole may not battle in wars or have a battlecry, but she had held herself together even in his disappearance.

She was the only one who welcomed his presence now; He no longer held a leash on himself. Yet, where one would believe Alucard would have devoured the star, there is a reason why he has not sunk damned fangs into tender flesh.

Through it all, she held onto humanity & never wavered in his eyes.

So, with her gifts lifted through his power & will, they would come to life to dance & fly around her playfully --- One crimson butterfly landing on his finger as he hums. ❛ You didn't need to go through the trouble, young one. ❜

He steps to sit on his usual spot; --- Said butterlly flowing freely from him onto her shoulder where it crawled around her cheek playfully. ❛ I will put them to good use, nonetheless. ❜
