So happy Gong Jun is going to be in The Tales of Dark River as Su Muyu. The man deserves it. God he's so pretty.

Fan Xian, Water Dragon Prince

So, on discord my friends and I discussed this, and have decided that Fan Xian is going to be a water dragon prince because of mermay. He is now finished. Hope you like him. I FINALLY learned how to use textures on Krita (fml for the past 6 years of digital arting). And boy does it make a difference! I am loving the textures. I also learned quite a bit on the prior Wen Kexing commission I did for a friend, so it's nice to see improvements. One of the things that we have to deal with as artists is a huge slump that can drag on for months, possibly years, and then bam something finally inspires us again and we have a burst of learning and flailing and growth. But, it takes time. And it's sooooo frustrating, but at the same time, we can't rush it. So, I count this as a win. Bless Joy of Life Season 2, and bless Zhang Ruoyun for finally putting that spark into my arting again (for however long it lasts).
