Hublebet Farm

Synopsis

What would have happened if a new species had appeared in the Animal Farm? The centipedes have been exploited at their previous farm, because of their ability to handle grains, consequently, a rebel feeling grows up between them. They arrive at the Animal Farm as animals that are being chased, as victims. However, they multiply themselves and in a small period of time, they are the species with more individuals in the farm. Then they show their main objective: 2 legs bad, 4 legs good, 100 legs better. Will the other animals follow the centipedes or the pigs?

Hunlebet farm

It was just another day at the Animal Farm. The sheeps were singing, Boxer was working hard, Squealer was making speeches and the pigs were starting to take over control. As leaders, they were seen as trustable, because of their intelligence. But far away, centipedes from another farm were treated really badly, they have been exploited, because of their ability to handle grains, consequently, a rebel feeling grows up between them. Their leader, Anastasia, lost five of her kids to two mean pigs.

Anastasia's surviving son, Julius, convinced the centipedes to run away and seek help at the Animal Farm. They arrived scared and hunted, but the other animals felt sorry for them because they knew what it was like to suffer under humans.  

In a small period of time, the centipedes multiplied themselves, and got together with the other animals to work on the improvement of the farm. The majority of the animals sympathize a lot with them, because of their past against humans.

 Everything looks amazing in Animal Farm: the sun is stunning, the plantations are growing and the animals are working together, without the enemy called “man”.  But not far away, there’s a heartbroken mother, who has not forgotten the evil species that killed her babies. She is looking for revenge, and is willing to destroy the peace of Animal Farm. 

When centipedes already have the animal’s trust, they show their main objective: 2 legs bad, 4 legs good, 100 legs better. They convince the animals that in their power everyone would work less. For this, the first one Anastasia looks for is Old Benjamin, the donkey. He always thought that, no matter who is in power, he would ever work the same.  In a long conversation, Anastasia convinces him of her ideas. Then, Old Benjamin tries to convince Boxer and Clovis, and they both like Anastasia’s ideology. Animal to animal, everybody, except for the pigs, are convinced. As clever animals, they didn’t trust the centipedes and their promises of a better life with fewer tasks. Pigs refused to give up control that they hadn’t got yet, seeing the centipedes as a threat to their near authority. Anastasia, motivated by her desire for justice, tried peaceful negotiations with Napoleon and the others of this species. However, intoxicated by power, remained with the same opinion.

Frustrated by the pigs' persistence, the centipedes, led by Anastasia and Julius, felt entitled to take more drastic measures. They knew they had the support of the majority of the animals, and with Boxer, the strongest and most dedicated among them, they had a powerful partner.

The fight between the centipedes and the pigs got really intense. Boxer was the one who has mostly helped the centipede's victory. The pink species had to give up and leave, so now the Animal Farm had new leaders: the centipedes. Furthermore, the farm’s name was changed into Hunlebet Farm (Hundred legs better farm).

The good times didn't last long. The centipedes didn’t make things better like they promised. Instead, they became just like the pigs were planning to be. They wanted revenge and power, so they made unfair rules and became like bosses. This wasn't what the animals wanted.

The Animal Farm, which used to be peaceful, now, as Hunlebet Farm, had problems inside. The centipedes, wanting too much power, started being mean to the other animals. The dream of a happy and equal farm was ruined. The animals realized that even though men were gone, they just got the same as they were.

As the sun went down on the Animal Farm, the centipedes' way of ruling made everything dark and sad. The animals wondered if they really got away from being led around or if they just got a new leader who was just as bad.
