"I'm glad. And I didn't steal it I look a lot younger than I am so I went trick or treating."
By the time she replied Keaton had already stuffed his mouth with sweets. He mumbled something inaudibly before swallowing a mouthful of candy. “Too bad you didn’t invite me. I can pass for a sixteen year old,” he said and chuckled lightly. “Though I guess that’s too old, right?”

"Happy Halloween, my dude. Want some candy?" She set a bucket full of candy.
The grunt looked up, then gazed down at the bucket full of candy. “Where’d you get that?” The idea of her stealing the candy from a child suddenly raced through his head and he realised he didn’t want to know. “Nevermind, sure. I love candy.” He went ahead and grabbed a handful, which brought a genuine smile to his face, a rare sighting.

The grunt wanted to protest when his boss decided to keep the drawing. Every drawing he made he poured his heart in a little, like anyone would do with something they’re passionate about, so seeing the man just take something he’d spent an hour on creating without a second thought felt like an intrusion. However, he was well aware his boss wasn’t going to take no for an answer and that it was better for him to keep his mouth shut.
“Thanks,” he mumbled in reply to the compliment, though he doubted if his boss cared much for gratitude. “I uh, I mostly draw humans but I can draw Pokemon too, boss.”
He gazed up to eye the boss for a brief moment, not sure with what expression he should face his superior. His stance was equally awkward, shifting his weight from one leg to the other. He knew the boss wasn’t very formal, yet it seemed inappropiate to approach the man in an informal manner, leaving the grunt puzzled with how he should speak to him.
“That was just a quick sketch,” he said, briefly pointing his gaze at the sketch that the boss had taken from him. “I have some more drawings in my room. I could show you them if you want, boss.” The grunt was fairly certain he shouldn’t have said that last bit. Now he was definitely getting his ass kicked.

He’d been staring at the drawing for a little too long now, which he realised as his body started to tense up and a lump in his throat left him feeling like he’d been frozen solid. Grunt K managed to look up to where the door was. It was a normal looking door, a door just like every other in the mansion. But everyone who’d ever gone near it knew what was hiding behind this particular door. Everyone who went through it knew there was a high risk of returning with a fresh set of bruises, or another month of laundry duty - those were the lucky ones.
He’d been waiting here for at least fifteen minutes, trying to come up with an excuse to interupt his boss. Keaton was a great liar, even in tense situations. Yet he found himself without a single thought on his mind. He was just standing here, waiting. That’s it, he couldn’t take this anymore! Time to go inside.
Knock-knock.
For real? What was wrong with him? No one ever knocked on this door before going in. Or did they? He sighed deeply before opening the door without giving himself the time to think this through. He’d just have to come up with an excuse on the spot.
“Boss?” the grunt mumbled. He’d hoped that his voice would’ve been louder, but something seemed to be holding him back. “I uh… I finished laundry for today. I.. was hoping you could help me out with something.” Keaton was grateful the mask was covering his cheeks, which were now blushing red.

So what did Keaton do after Team Skull fell apart?
Probably moved into a supported housing place of some sort sort, since he doesn't really fit in with criminals. I mean, he can fit in pretty well so people probably think he's just like any other grunt, but he has dreams that he won't be able to accomplish them if he's in a gang.

Though he wasn’t about to admit it, the male grunt was rather surprised by her seemingly excited reaction. Even if he had no intention of making the girl feel bad, he knew his witty comments didn’t exactly boost people’s confidence. But the girl’s response definitely boosted his ego, though probably not for the best.
“The name’s Keaton,” he said as he ran his eyes over the other grunt. He wondered why he’d never spotted her before. Was she new? She couldn’t be, not if she was the one who got trusted with the task of making the boss’s Tapu Cocoa. Then again, anything was possible. “It’s nice to meet you,” he added.
It took a few moments for her words to sink in as he was resting his gaze on her, his expression somewhat emotionless, though there was definitely a faint determination burning in his eyes. That same fire never seemed to burn out. No matter what he did, he seemed to do everything with a certain passion that no one in the mansion seemed to understand.
“A backpack?” He mumbled. “You might wanna go for a handbag or something else you can hold in your hand. It would look rather suspicious if you were to take off your backpack in the middle of the store.” A faint smile appeared on his face and he eyed the female grunt with a somewhat reassuring look. “If we’re gonna do this, we better do it good.”

The moment the drawing got snatched out of his hands, Keaton felt a chill run down his spine, giving him the feeling his life was about to take a turn for the worst. Unsuprisingly that was how any meeting with the boss, Guzma, felt like.
Grunt K stayed quiet for a good few seconds, trying to come up with a suitable comment when his boss failed to react to the drawing. He took a deep breath. “Do you, uh, recognise it, boss?” he asked carefully. He realised he was already pushing his luck here. There was a chance of getting beat up by the boss at any moment, or he’d just kick him out of the mansion and fire him all together.
“I apologise if the drawing isn’t very accurate, boss,” he added, hoping to increase his chances of making it out of this room alive. “The Pokemon can transform itself to look like different Pokemon, but I am fairly certain this is its true form. It only looks like this when no one else is around, which isn’t often. So I didn’t have the best reference. Sorry.”

The male grunt gently blew on the Tapu Cocoa as he awaited her response, somehow being the fussy type that thought a drink was burning hot while everyone else considered it to be the right temperature. Those type of ‘defects’ had always made him slower than everyone else, which resulted in him easily being left behind if he didn’t stand on his guard enough. He vaguely wondered if this grunt would leave him if he’d fall behind, too.
Her question was accepted with a frown and a faint chuckle. Although trying to hide it, it was rather obvious the man enjoyed this particular moment where all the attention was on him. It wasn’t often that people came to ask for his help, which he never truly understood why, being one of the smarter grunts in the mansion.
“First of all, we can’t afford to steal them all at once. And not all at the same shop,” he pointed out. He took a few more steps into the kitchen, eyes exploring every inch of the room. “We’ll need a bag that can close up. Don’t want them to be able to spot the products in our bags.” He turned aroudn to look the grunt in the eye. “When we find the hairdye, we’ll form a triangle shape by standing really close to it, shoulder to shoulder. That way no one can see what we’re doing and it will look like we’re just trying to pick the right product.”

“I uh, I...” He kept quiet for a good few seconds, before deciding he might as well tell his boss the truth. Even if he was a great liar, he felt like the boss would instantly be able to tell apart an excuse. Alright, he was just going to have to tell him the truth behind him coming here.
“I made a drawing of the Pokemon that I.. ehm, that’s been following me. I asked all the grunts if they recognised it, but no one knows what Pokemon it is. I thought.. I thought you might know what kind of Pokemon it is. You know more about Pokemon than any of us.”
That last part may have been an overstatement, or maybe not, he wasn’t sure. But anything to put the boss into a good mood.
He held up the sketch in his hand, though he wasn’t quite sure if he should try handing it over to the Team Skull boss or not. For all he knew the boss thought he was wasting his time.

Note
Does Keaton ever lighten up? Or is he always so serious?
((He's just... trying really hard to succeed. Aside from cracking a few jokes from time to time, like in the ghost hunter RP, he will most likely stay serious unless he feels that he can relax, which is only when the boss is satisfied. Keaton you need to take a fucking nap.))

The grunt laughed mockingly and leaned in slightly to look the other grunt in the eye. “Tell anyone? Now why would I do that?” he said, his tone sarcastic. The gengar pulled the smaller grunt into a hug, chuckling. Keaton’s Gengar usually liked anyone his master felt comfortable around. “Can we go now, Jayse?”
Open RP - Ghost Hunters
He didn’t even remember who came up the rumour, but he definitely regret telling Jayse about it. He should’ve known he was going to end up being dragged down to the supposedly haunted storage room. They were still in the gaming room, but he’d already said yes and Jayse wasn’t going to drop the subject until they’d explored every inch of the storage room in question.
Keaton sighed deeply as he scrolled through the Team Skull group chat on his phone.
Grunt K: Yo, anyone else wanna join on some dumb ghost hunt?? J is making me come with him…
No one had replied yet. He could’ve just yelled across the room if he wanted to, but the idea of asking if people wanted to go on a ghost hunt out loud was just a little too much for him. This was dumb enough as it was.
He sighed again and turned to look at Jayse. “Don’t tell me you think there’s an actual ghost in the storage room,” he mumbled. “Someone probably just lost their Gastly in there and some scaredy cat brushed it off as an actual ghost.” He reached out for one of the Pokeballs attached to his belt. “You’ve seen Gengar. It loves to fool people like that. Ghosts don’t actually exist.”
