Thinking about a verse where Lily survived or idk maybe on Voldemort taking Harry’s blood to use in the resurrection ritual that somehow brings her back because love is powerful and Lily WILL kick your ass if you hurt her son. It involves lots of Lily stress baking and potentially trying to kick Dumbledore’s old butt because they’re children albus!!!!!

She’s never seen anything like it, the world around them has turned into a multitude of colours and the leaves are all orange, golden and brown. It’s beautiful and nothing at all like Cokeworth in Autumn where even the areas with trees were a little sad if she was being honest. Nor was it like Hogwarts and it’s cold Highlands we don’t really get a proper Autumn thing that was beautiful but you know-- This was her first proper out of a movie kind autumnal experience. Her cheek muscles are going to ache from how much she’s grinning but she can’t help it, not as she reaches for James and points at a carefully raked pile of leaves. ❛ Do you want to jump in that with me?  ❜  It was unlike her to want to cause a mess but oh she’d seen it done when at the cinema and life was too short to not be childlike and experience new fun things.  ❛ If we get yelled at we’ll just run really fast.  ❜

The image of a nameless gnome biting an RSPCA workers fingers off took forefront of her inner eye. It proved too much for her, the disastrous scene that Harry had evoked now running full riot in her head and she didn’t bother stopping her peel of laughter. Her son had a point. He often did, she thought with a swell of pride that touched the edges of her humour.  ❛ You might have a point. I’ve heard their teeth can be fiendishly sharp. ❜ It was just that sometimes-- well, sometimes it could be hard to think like a magical person. There were so many cultural differences that sometimes she felt a little stuck between worlds.  ❛ Just because something or someone continuously returns back to a place that harms them doesn’t always give us the right to do said harm. We can however, perhaps consider gnomes a small exception... cats do enjoy chasing them and it can be funny to watch. ❜

   "Ah, I’d love to, but no can do, Evans.” There was a lazy cadence to his voice that match his stance, even with his arms spread the width of the door to prevent her from launching past him. It was unlikely she’d beat him anyways, what with his Chaser speed and natural agility, but he almost wanted to see her try. “Our dear friend Mr. Black is resting. Strict instructions not to be disturbed, especially by angry redheads.”

 “Your friend--” she spat the word friend with a level of vitriol that seemed specially reserved only for Potter and his dear friend Mr. Black. “-is probably listening at that door right now having a jolly good laugh That or doing away with the evidence of his crimes.”  Blasé as anything as he stood there protecting his thrice damned friend from her rage--  Well, Lily thought she could maybe get in two good punches before she was pulled off of him. She’d been on the verge of shaking with the downright indignant rage she felt, but as the thought of socking Potter occurred to her she seemed to still. Her weight shifted, resting on the balls of her feet without thought as she eyed him and then the door. Maybe just one punch and then whilst he was stunned she make a run for--  If her next words were devoid of heat, a little more cajoling, then it would only take one look at the fire still burning in her eyes, or the hands curled by her sides to see it for a week attempt at manipulation. “Look Potter, I won’t be held responsible for any harm done to you if you stay in my way. You can move now or you and Black can suffer together.”   She’d get at Sirius Black whatever it took, and then she’d rip the toe rag a new one as she read him the riot act.

I’ve finally gotten around to writing up some extra verses. Below the cut for practicalities sake are Lily’s new TVD and Grisha verses!

IV / TVD / LEGACIES.

Torn away from her witchy boarding school in Scotland only to be forced to make the move to Mystic Falls wasn’t exactly Lily’s idea of fun. Nor was it exactly her own personal choice. Unlike Petunia, just because Lily does not agree with - or at all like - the idea of this big move doesn’t mean she’ll tell her parents. A little sullen, maybe, definitely homesick, and feeling like a fish out of water she adjusts to life in Mystic Falls. Unfortunately, life in Mystic Falls is anything but quiet. In fact, it’s downright dangerous and as a witch with not nearly enough training Lily is in far more danger than she ever was at her last school.

listen lily is a great person to take care of you when you’re sick -- she’ll bring you chicken soup or vegetable soup and all sorts of goodies and she’ll make sure you’re comfortable and well-rested-- but she herself is an absolutely terrible sick person and trying to get her to rest for just five minutes is an exhausting task.
