/For the better then. I could tell you, but not over a comm-link. That uncaring spy / Nightfall put a heavy emphasis on the word to coax Mirage into filling in the name without saying it. /could be listening in. If that got your attention, then come find me./
Glancing skyward to peer at the stars, Nightfall smirked and clicked over the comm-link. /If not. . . Can always comment on how bright the stars are tonight./
Nightfall bitterly laughed. /That is an understatement. I’m still in shock that you had been able to move after what happened to you./
The Seeker herself shifted where she lounged. A twisted and fitting place to be holding a comm-link conversation. She was resting atop a rocky pillar where Mirage and her first met. /Speaking of… Do you have any memory of how you were returned to the Autobots?/

gryphonnightfall replied to your post: A crackle and a beep came over the comm-link with a request. The signal was of Decepticon origin. The source one that the Autobot hadn’t heard from in a good month or more. “… Mirage?”
Nightfall’s side on the line was quiet for a moment. When she answered, there was an edge of amusement was in her voice. /Long time no chat, Autobot./
Mirage was silent himself for a time, reaching for and lighting a cygarette.  /Indeed.  Last I saw you I was…not in a state to be having a proper conversation…/

"Nothing right now. Letting you go isn't an option." Nightfall crouched down in front of Prowl. A clawed servo reached out to tap at Prowl's visor and the cloth covering it. "I don't really trust you to not go back the moment you're free. I'm not going to bark orders at you, but you're not being set free. Not yet."
gryphonnightfall replied to your post: “Here Kitty Kitty~.” [Sorry Prowl. XD]
The Seeker’s audials twitched. “Would of preferred being captured by the Autobots? Keeps your already fragged aft out of the line of fire.” Snorts.
“It wasn’t in the line of fire to begin with! I was doing FINE against the Autobots! Release me!” Prowl struggled against the restraints, shaking his helm to attempt to remove the blindfold.

Nightfall was glad that the restraints were quite strong. Strong enough to hold the very angry Prowl. Which was quite a shock and amusement that this was the same Prowl she had dropped in on a few months ago. "Uh huh. I release you and you'll rip off my wings. I like my wings where they are."

A warm wind stirred the leaves scattered over the abandoned road. They swirled a short-lived dance before hitting an armored leg that shivered despite the day itself being warm. The leg shifted as it's owner, a wary Seeker, glanced side to side. There was nothing in the city that would of made her cautious. It had long since been abandoned. Not even the radiation was of great concern; a decontamination shower would of taken care of that.
Instead the Seeker's thoughts flickered back to Cybertron. Of the times near the end of the war before Decepticon and Autobot fled the planet. It reminded her far too much of the dying planet.
Every way she turned was overgrowth, disaster, or simple signs of abandonment. Vines were creeping up buildings. Grass broke through along the street edges and sidewalks. Rusting window frames; the glass long since shattered. Pieces of molded paper, of what hadn't decayed into nothing, littered the road in spots.
Nightfall's helm lifted up and she could see a Ferris Wheel rusted and unused. It was, what did the humans call it, the Prypiat Amusement Part. There was little amusement to be had within the park or anywhere within Prypiat itself.
"This. . . it fits. . ." The Seeker mumbled to the empty city. "Time to get this over with."
Raising a servo to an audial ornament on her helm, despite how useless the action was, Nightfall clicked on her com-link to quickly into a frequency she used only once before. With a short cringe, she sent a short message out. "Lord Megatron. I humbly request your presence. I will send you the coordinates for the groundbridge." Once the coordinates were transferred, the com-link cut off.
"Frag." Taking a last look around, Nightfall headed to one of the nearest buildings to climb to the top and wait for the leader of the Decepticons to arrive.

Nightfall's optics flickered away then back. Audials twitched and lowered down. "I'm aware of the obvious that I've been missing from the Nemesis for months at this point. I am a little surprised I didn't even receive a warning ping from a lack of reports."
Frowning, Nightfall growled in a flicker of irritation. "I didn't even receive one from you. Not even after what I did to Shadowblitz. That surprised me most of all. Why?"
Green optics looked downward once the groundbridge formed and Soundwave emerged from it. Nightfall waited until the bridge faded to shift on the decaying building. The scraping echoed behind the Targetmaster. “You actually came. I’m surprised.”
Soundwave wasnt really suprised to see an Decepticon calling him. It would make sense since the message was encrypted with a Con code. But he wouldnt have expected it to be the femme which had left ship for months now. An intense stare indicated her, that she should speak up. Quick.

"Sometimes you need to fight to get your point across. Not everything can be solved with peaceful negotiations." Nightfall hissed. "I only asked you remove the insult. Not anything else. Not paying attention, are we?"
Vivid green optics narrowed at Ratchet. "My faction doesn't designate my personality. In fact, I held a mostly civil conversation with another Autobot once. Ah. . That was before an Insecticon attack. Pest."
The corner of her facial plating twitched. Nightfall's helm tilted; audials twitching. ". . . How is Mirage? I haven't seen him since the Nemesis."
Ratchet didn’t like her little Autobot’s comment, and only continued to glare at her. He did take a step back, watching her movements and noting her somewhat changed behavior, shaking his helm. “I’m sorry, but not all of us Autobots are all up in a higher class. Some of us are stuck in this war because a certain leader is a, well, brat!”

[*Twiddles thumbs* I'd like to get Nightfall back into play. Just seems at the moment with the virus aboard the Nemesis and the rescue mission for Thundercracker, just not really sure how to step in. 'Bot or 'Con, I could use some RP for Nightfall. Not a picky Seeker with whom she interacts with. She doesn't bite.]

"Don't shove me in with the Decepticon lot and I wont do the same to you. That is as simple as that." Nightfall's voice dropped low and she growled deeper at the direct insult to Megatron. "A brat? That is an insult I haven't heard something call Megatron before. An insult is still an insult."
Claws dragged through the dead trunk as Nightfall raised herself up. Talons on her pedes and on her front servos sank into the bark. The nosecone that formed the base end of her spinal column stretched out to form a tail that swayed behind her. Wings pricked up and folded back. "Care to try take that back and be civil? Before I remember that Decepticons hate Autobots."
Nightfall snorted as she listened to the medic work on trying to get under her plating. A sly grin curled over her visage so her fanged denta peeked out. “Every Decepticon is different. I personally don’t give a frag about the humans and their ways to try and save their planet. I only care about where I can relax. Forests, not rainforests, provide a good place for that.”
Finials pinned back at being called pathetic. Nightfall growled low at that. The first honest threat Ratchet received from the otherwise docile Seeker. “There you go again. ‘You ‘Cons this’ and ‘You ‘Cons that.’ You keep tossing me right into the mix with the whole lot of them.”
The Seeker snorted. “Should I toss you into a generalized statement about Autobots? How all of you are so high up in your Towers that you don’t give two scraps about anyone else? Oh and a medic of all to be saying this!” Two could play the game.

“All Decepticons have to live up to the deceptive part of their name.” It was Nightfall’s turn to roll her optics. Finals twitched in irritation at how she was sitting. Rolling onto her side, she settled down onto the fallen tree with what sounded like a purr of content. Pedes and arms were crossed with her wings spread out.
“I’m relaxing. Isn’t that obvious?” Nightfall’s optics turned back to the medic and narrowed. “I did do it on purpose. Haven’t you noticed how dry the forest is? One lightning strike to this tree and everything would go up in flames. I happen to enjoy forests not burning to the ground. Couldn’t hide in them if they were charred.”

It’s not that simple. We are all both, good and evil, we have rage and compassion, we have love and hate… murder and forgiveness. Why don’t you try forgiving yourself for a change?

“Well usually Decepticons are trying to tear my helm off my shoulders so you could have just said Autobot and lived up to your faction name.” He shook his helm. He heard the creaking of the tree and set himself in a stance, ready to move quickly to either catch the one who he now knew was a Decepticon, and to get away quickly if the tree were to come down in his direction.
It was then he realized he just needed to get his aft away from his current position. He hopped back before crouching down and rolling to the side. Ratchet stood and shook his helm. “I told you…”

Nightfall laughed and grinned back at the medic. "Lived up to it and do what? Build up a false trust then shoot you in the back?" Trailing off, she half-yanked herself up to sink her pedes into the top of the tree. That weight shift was enough to get the old tree to finally give in with a loud cracking sound as the base gave up.
Jumping off, wings pinning down, Nightfall rolled into a crouch as the tree slammed down behind her. Splinters, cracked branches, dirt, and broken bits of barked was sent upward to come raining down on the two of them.
Green optics flickered to the tree then towards Ratchet. "I did it on purpose. Better to be down than up. Even if I lost a perch." Standing up, Nightfall stepped backwards to plant herself down on the fallen trunk."
“An Autobot’s medic coding is different from that of a Decepticon medic.” Nightfall shifted to brace herself in the tree. Clawed servos, and even clawed pedes, sank deeply into the dead wood. Creaks and cracking accompanied every movement she made. The way her weight shifted caused the dead tree to lean in the direction she moved.
Pausing as she leaned nearly all the way off the tree, Nightfall looked at Ratchet. “Guess.”
The Seeker leaned into the tree then shifted all of her weight by half swinging to yank down on one of the stronger branches. The once mighty limb splintered, cracked, and twisted as she slammed into the lower half of the trunk. A servo gripped the tree while her pedes sank in deep. Even in her lean weight, the tree started to cave and tilt with her.
It was only going to be second when the the Seeker’s weight was going to cause the tree to fall.

“No, no I haven’t…” He frowned and shook his helm. “Yes, I actually am worried about your safety. Aside of it being in my coding, I do feel like it is my responsibility to make sure that no one gets hurt.” He took another step toward the tree, twitching slightly as she moved in the tree.
