big fan of drakengard 3 fans reacting to criticism of their game bc where nier fans will literally just trauma dump and tell you you don't know what youre talking just about every convo ive had with a dod3 fan discussing my issues or questions about plotholes in the game like "what was the purpose of this" ends in them literally just responding with their own opinions and headcanons like it's actual statements given by the dev team 😭 like im sorry i didn't ask for your opinion but the devs cannot just have characters doing complete 180s (half before the game even STARTS) whose course DEFINES WHY THE NARRATIVE EXISTS IN THE FIRST PLACE and then refuse to elaborate on what caused such a drastic character shift to begin with????? Like. this isn't the kind of thing that you can "leave up to interpretation" tbh

you know despite their differences, i like to think of 1.3 and dod1 leonard as being equally wracked with as much pain, suffering, guilt and grief as the other 👀 if i go much longer without yapping of my ideas of 1.3's 2 second mention of "oh yeah, i guess he ALSO feels sad about having lost family to the union" and how that manifests through his much more overt sexuality i might just have to Do Something..........

something about the freedom from having to be weighed down by the added repression dod1 suffers from and whether that and letting himself go is what allows him to act all that more "strong" and "stable" in front of others and whether that has allowed him to be FREE of his guilt or if it just stacks onto it in turn, his sexuality in relation to his continued grief over his brothers (as opposed to just "self-service" like in DOD1), like.... is it a distraction? is it projection???? what's going on up there..... can someone talk to him and ask him please im curious and the narrative didn't get a chance to do it before he died :(

anyways that thing behind him is supposed to be the green dragon. i don't know a lick about how to even start learning to draw dragons though so please just pretend you knew that already <3 🙏
