While the Langstons are on hiatus I thought I would share here some photos from another Decades Challenge I started a year ago.

This is the Fleming family, who I created when I was on maternity leave waiting for my babies to arrive. I enjoyed playing them and exploring a different start to the Decades Challenge and playing with new cc.

Beatrice and Zachariah Fleming were my founders. They lived in Henford-on-Bagley in the town in a small Victorian house. Zachariah worked as a lawyer and Beatrice was a homemaker. They had 5 children - 4 girls and 1 boy named Adelaide, Florence, Josephine, Harriette and Theodore.

I tried to follow their lives chronologically from 1890 into the early 1900s. It was fun to create all these portraits of their growing family.

I got sick of playing them however and haven’t been motivated to go back. I learnt from this that I’m a farm girl at heart who likes to start from scratch, so that will inform any future Decades Challenges that I attempt… because never say never.

Anyway I hope they can serve as some inspiration! I may share my PSD actions for creating these Victorian/Edwardian portraits in future 🎨

nyc roofs! this was really fun to do. i honestly don't understand all the elements that are supposed to be on a roof lmao 🥴 but i tried to learn and place things in a way that made sense. there's still more to do but i'm loving it so far

after getting too drunk to head home on her own, dali crashes at amaya and karlee's. she hangs around for a while to help with chores as a thank you for letting her stay and for the clothes she borrowed.

sometime after dali leaves, karlee and ama have a discussion about how dangerously low their finances are and how the ranch isn't bringing in much profit.

After they married, Bernie and Nicholas Bobble bought a suburban, Oasis Springs mini-mansion. Not to settle down... Bernie wanted to be the weirdest, wildest thing on the block, and moving to the suburbs seemed the easiest way to do it!
