I 100% the whole ,,, cat boy & guard pup thing would in work in a stereotype type way between them. Though I think at first Quincey would be baffled by the other , because well its not everyday he meets other young looking supernatural beings like himself. However that curiosity would be dropped the moment he got the " that's food not friend " from either his sister or Integra. From there , much like a guard puppy in training , it would be over vigilance & " growly " ( sometimes literally ) behavior towards the other.
