he does. definitely. but it’s just the bad witches ; the thing is, dean is still honing the ability to separate the bad from the good. the world was easier black and white, dean hates all the shades of gray.

there’s a hint of a smile on the witch’s lips. leyla already knows the real meaning behind his words and she understands. he is not the first and most definitely not going to be the last person to hold this view of witches. “i get it. it is normal not to trust something you do not fully understand. it is required in your profession, i believe. witches are like any other being, really; some are good, some are bad.” she shrugs. she knows plenty of people who have had bad experiences with witches. 

“regardless, i’m willing to help you out, so long as you accept it. --- there won’t be any tricks, promise.” though, it is up to him to take her word for it.
