Yukino had just finished a simple job with bodyguarding some rich socialite who was honestly more paranoid than anything considering not once was he attacked, but a job was a job. She couldn’t complain anyway. An uneventful job like that was always good news for the guild and for the client. On her way back, she had caught sight of Lucy, who she hadn’t seen since... Well, it had been awhile. 

“Ah! Lucy!” Yukino called out to the other celestial mage and quickened her pace to catch up to the blonde. “It’s been quite some time, hasn’t it?’

An odd job had come up on Sabertooth's board. A small town was having people be kidnapped by a white haired woman with a wicked tattoo on her stomach. Apparently she targeted wizards who were part of the small religion there. And when they came back, their magical abilities were greatly reduced to the point that they could only perform the simplest spells. She was weakening them. And her strength was too much to fight against. The job asked for someone to stop the woman! ( @slayerofheroes )

Yukino wasn’t used to taking jobs like these by herself. She always made sure to travel with a companion when it came to something that might involve a fight, but she had been training herself much more lately. She needed to convince herself that she would be fine without another human. Besides, her spirits would never let her down if she needed them. With that resolve, she took the quest, prepared her bags, and made her way to the distant town. 

“Excuse me!” Yukino called out to the first person she saw around the town -- it was practically empty. Most likely due to whoever it was causing the trouble. “I’m looking for the mayor’s office. Could you point me in the right direction?” Yukino gave the stranger a kind smile, completely unaware.
