Salutations! Tyria Pride is coming once again! Join us any time next Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29, on both EU and NA, for an awesome event that takes us all the way from Ebonhawke to Rata Sum, while we raise money for a good cause!

What is Tyria Pride?

Tyria Pride is a two-day in-game pride march from one corner of (core) Tyria to the other to show support both LGBTQ players and devs, and a fundraiser for Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit organisation which helps queer people escape state-sponsored persecution and violence around the world.

It's tons of fun every year, a ton of streamers join in so there are many ways to follow along even if you're not in game, music guilds hold concerts, and we have some pretty legendary giveaways! It's always blast!

Fundraiser

Rainbow Railroad is a non-profit that helps LGBTQ+ people get to safety from countries where their lives are at risk. They've done tons of work all over the world, working tirelessly in places like Afghanistan and Ukraine! Rainbow Railroad works year-round to save lives, and we're honored to support them in this cause!

If you'd like to get involved beyond just participating, there's tons of ways to do it! On the discord, you'll find an entire "How to Help" section!

We're always looking for artists who are interested in donating a commission as a prize for our fundraiser raffle!

TYRIA PRIDE PRE-EVENT: BOAT PARTY

Lion’s Arch teems with parade floats from all across Tyria and beyond! Guilds, communities, and other groups come together to show off their floats and get ready to party!

Event Information

The Boat Party is a brand new event in the Tyria Pride lineup, and is a cool way for guilds and other groups to come show off your skiff and your best beachwear with your besties! Guilds are also welcome to host a short minigame or two with the crowd! We’ll be partying on the boat near the Claw Island Portage Waypoint in Lion’s Arch! Note that this is a new event with open co-organization by guilds, so during the event we’ll be testing some ideas and suggestions, and it will also be a chill hang out and boat party time! You are kindly invited to join us and help us brainstorm for next year!

Requirements

On a free-to-play account, level 35 is needed to enter Lion’s Arch,

If you are planning to host a mini-game on your boat, let us know in advance so that we can plan the timeslot.

Carrion Devourer - Guild Wars 2

Another two-tailed, scythe-legged scorpion! This one is red and fairly smooth. It is one of the starting pet options for Charr Rangers! Which means it's also the only option, because why would you pick anything else?

It is a burrowing ambush predator and while its venom is nothing special, it can regenerate.

Trespassing Shrimp trespassed too hard

Last night I stumbled into an event, which opened some Font of Rhand portal. Me and a couple other people started doing the puzzles, all except this fellow warrior named Beegbop gave up on the puzzles and left. Long before the nefarious curse would befall us.

Much to our dismay, the instance reset and with it all the previously interactable objects which were now inoperable. The rubble re-covered one path out, and the chain-operated door on the other path ceased to work at all. This the curse of Flame Temple Tombs.

One day, our beloved shrimp will escape to trespass once more

Flash News Update: You cannot swim out from Wizard's Fief

I had to go there instead

I still don't know what people do in MMOs so my new adventure is to swim from Wizard Fief to Diresight Caverns by swimming across the Sea of Sorrows. gw2 has like 5 different systems so people don't do this.

If you're on the EU server, get there now because some jackass named Trespassing Shrimp is about to show up
