in light of police across the country cracking down on pro palestine protests with brutal force, it feels like a great time to remind everyone to shut the fuck up around cops. don't make small talk, dont act friendly, don't fucking engage with them!! if you are arrested DO NOT speak without a lawyer present. protest organizers, get into contact with local pro bono lawyers who can be there for your arrested comrades. no matter what, if cops are there, shut the fuck up unless you are actively doing a protest chant. dont tell cops why you were there, dont tell them if you're affiliated with the school you may be protesting at, dont tell them if you came there with anyone, dont tell them anything!!!

People who don't have the energy to ID every image you reblog, but make sure to describe all your original posts, we're lining up so I can give all of you a big high-five. People who don't know how to describe every image you reblog, but describe lots and lots of specific types of posts like screenshotted tweets or animal images, I am sending you all some little treats.

People who check the notes for IDs, I notice you and I appreciate you so much. People who edit the ID into your posts when someone in the notes provides one, I see you, and you're a constant encouragement to me. We will all do what we can to make a more accessible world together.

While we're at it: using language that downplays genocide is a form of genocide denial.

Joe Biden isn't doing a bad job, Joe Biden is providing material support for genocide.

Israel isn't handling the situation badly, Israel is committing genocide.

Employing euphemisms minimizes the reality of this genocide. It's disrespectful and dangerous.

If you are more uncomfortable with the word genocide than you are with the reality of genocide, then you are not prepared to be part of any serious discussion. Work on that on your own time.

One of the characters in our D&D party is an orc named Brick.  We’ve established that orcs get their names through tests of strength and that his name is Brick because it’s the strongest thing he was able to break with his bare hands.

By profession, Brick is a therapist.  His ultimate ambition is to one day do therapy so good that he can change his name to Depression.

Environmental engineer and public health consultant Dr. Tamer Al-Najjar reports that despite the occupation’s attempt to destroy it, the Indonesian Hospital will be back to operation within the next few weeks. Work is also already underway to return Al-Shifa Hospital to operation, which we have seen from the social media accounts of staff members.

There is never a time to lose hope, but especially not now. Gaza lives, and Palestine WILL be free in our lifetimes.
