hello there! i'm lu, and i will be running this account!

be the change you want to see in the world because, saddened by the lack of gimmick blogs identifying guitars, i went out here and created my own

feel free to tag me or send me asks for guitar identification! in the meantime i am here to reblog and identify what i do see :)

i look at the headstock label, pickups, body shape, bridge, strings, and switches + knobs to determine a guitar as well as looking at what guitars are most often used by a guitarist in particular

issues with this that i may come across are if a guitar is modded, and often exact date can't be determined because brands like fender have about 10930948 reissues of classic models and otherwise the models remain similar apart from things like bridge + pickups

as for art/animation, it's more of an approximation as often there are fewer details (like pickups or bridges) and the guitar is only drawn in reference to an actual model as opposed to traced exactly
