I like Starfoxxe. I really really do, so it saddens me to see her leave. But I understand exactly why she's quitting, and tbh it's the same reason I've technically quit a few months ago. I never really talked to her, but I just wanted her to know I was always fond of her (in a non-stalkerish way!). I hope you find happiness wherever you decide to go!

I wish someone would do a big haul and its like sweet pea items and stuff and donate them to the giving tree or on the forums have a big haul where you can choose what you want for free or something/ Idk I just want to get cool items like the dawn/dusk items or snowdrop set and keep them forever w/o paying the mountains and mountains of SS which is hard to save up if u didn't know already - floweycrowns

I gotta do art for like 4 people, but I’m at a standstill because I don’t know how I want to pose them and shade them, etc. But I still wanna draw and my mom has possible ovarian cancer and a kitten died yesterday, Starfoxxe is leaving and life’s just throwing a big ‘FUCK YOU’ right at my face. But through it all, I just hope my moms gunna be okay and just wanna draw. Damnit.

(Maybe that's why Goat Prince was gone? Did she kick him out of the kingdom for not smiling?)

this is starfoxxe, and first of all, Pantera is a really sweet person and didn't do anything to deserve this! she's going through tough stuff IRL right now and shouldn't have to worry about people talking trash about her online on top of her other worries. ;-; secondly, Pantera and I are good friends (who happened to meet on goatlings), and I talk to Teacups and Mama enough to consider them friends too. all three of them are Good People. Pantera has never done anything I felt was "sucking up" to me and trust me, I've experienced a lot of users trying to do just that. maybe you're just salty that Pantera actually had the courage to talk to the cool Powerusers (TM) and is indeed becoming real friends with these people, unlike you! we're actually all pretty chill people if you try talking to us instead of spreading hate. :) also Pantera is one of my favourite artists on site and I've seen a lot of progress in her work lately. I was raised with a "think before you speak, and if you don't have anything kind to say, then don't say anything at all" sort of mentality but I guess you missed that memo buddy.

anyone else ‘strongly dislike’-aka fuckin hate- Pantera? She is always suckin up to teacups, starfoxxe and mama, and her art is really fuckin bad. might as well be another cutee.

how dare anyone take a design meant to be up for interpretation/personalization (goatlings designs), do just that and make them into an original character, and then draw them in scenarios that fit this newly created character (which at this point is barely even goatlings related anymore aside from a few similar colours and anime hair). how dare anyone do the things they want to do to their characters they created!!! do you also go to sonic fan forums and tell them to stop RPing their self-insert Amy Rose ripoff OC with Sonic because the franchise is marketed "toward children"? lmao chill dude. you don't gotta make your goatlings-based OCs do the dirty in a drawing but nobody put you in charge of policing what other people do with their made-up characters either.

i’ve seen people draw nsfw of their goatling characters and it’s really icky :(

these are characters from a website that children play on… don’t sexualize innocent things, especially if it’s childish or made (partially) for children, because it’s really creepy…

im laughing so hard, i can see why you'd think this tho. tbh i don't consider myself a part of the furry fandom but my friends make furry jokes because i draw a lot of anthro stuff. i don't have a fursona per se, but i have a "muse" I like to draw as a fox who sort of represents me and my creativity. if you consider that to be a furry then yeah dude i'm the furriest. short answer: nah but if u wanna be one then follow your heart friend

Rome has an essence of sweet pea as a goat treasure item. Why not open it or sell it or USE IT SOMEHOW instead of just wasting it on a goat?

it was a USER MADE item though. a user suggested it and krisgoat decided to make it. are you mad about the item existing because, what, there's no LORE for the item? make up your own if it's that important to you. yes, goatlings borrows from pop culture, that's sort of the POINT. to make relatable references that are currently relevant, like the small gems (legend of zelda), crystal gem sets (steven universe), etc. perhaps if you want some goatlings lore you should try writing it and submitting it to the goatlings gazette or something. I wish there was more substance to the world of goatlings itself too but I'm not going to make the person who suggested the teru teru bozu toy feel bad over it. :)

I wanted to clear up a small misunderstandings that certain tumblr users made concerning my post.

I said, “sheet ghost is a trope” as in a theme/ideas that people use regularly.

I used ghostkerchief and Ghost toy as examples of how one is reinvented and the latter is just being reused.

The ghostkerchief has a backstory a place where he is from, and relatives.

Ghost toy is just a random object.

The point I wanted to make is that Goatlings borrows from sites/franchises etc  a lot but doesn’t put in any effort to make it goatling specific, or it’s own entity.   There is so much on the site that is “just there”

Goatlings is suppose to be this world of magical goats but is comes off as a cartoon version of everyday life.  

I really want to be able to immerse myself in the goatling world, but I cannot, and I find that frustrating.

(Obviously I must have expressed myself badly for so many people to take it the wrong way. English isn’t my first Lang, but I really do not understand where/how?! Sorry for the misunderstanding)

Obviously sheet ghost is a trope so I wouldn’t consider this something bad/serious like plagiarism/copyright.

However I’ve noticed in the past month or so, that A LOT [90+%] of the site seems to resemble art or plots from other sites/ franchises.

If the above example was the only one,I would put it down to coincidence. However it seem every time I see or read something on goatlings I get this sense of deja vu. Normally it’s because I really have seen the art or plot somewhere else.

This re-using comes off as lazy. I’d really like to see something, please.
