Vaati’s speech patterns are reminiscent of something out of a book, where poetry verses and euphemistic language is often used more than outright speaking in blunted dull expression. 

► ELOQUENCE

Vaati was raised and trained for years by a wandering Samurai who spoke in elequence, befitting one who grew years of wisdom through experience, and the wisdom was passed down to his apprentice. Receiving a more formal education once he was sent to the Sekiseigumi in Kugane and learned to refine and hone the skills and mind that his master granted him.

In most cases, his voice is softer and more velvetone, added with his tendency to recite lines from songs or poetry adds a light whimsical to any conversation with him. Though when the gloves come off and the sword is drawn, his voice gains base and a stone-wall hostility befitting his intention during a worst-case scenario.

► HABITS

Speaks often with light-hearted quips and in poetic rhyme. Does not take much seriously and often sees a form of silver lining in any and all situations. Use of euphemistic language can be a bit exhausting for those who often speak with him and get to know him; often needing to ‘dumb it down’ so it’s easier to digest. Vaati and Urianger can speak for hours..

► VOICE REFERENCE

Voice references are essentially a mix of Kenshin Himura, Sephiroth, Urianger, and Dean Winchester. It’s a ridiculous mixture but making them work with one another, given the context of the situation at that current point makes them a challenge and who doesn’t like to test their ability?
