Look, Ma, no paddle!
12’6” Paddle/Surf Vehicle designed in Makaha in 1999 and used as a competitive raceboard, a spearfishing dive caddy, and an escape vehicle to the outer reefs. These boards give you a direct link to the olo of ancient times, albeit with more direction due to the fin. They also teach you other things, too — if you don’t learn to wipeout correctly they come after you like a battle axe….

Looks similar to a board Dave shaped me a few years ago. I consider it my foam and fiberglass soul mate.

My 10’ Avocado pigment retro-shape longboard, with elements of the Nuuhiwa Lightweight Model as well as a bit of hull-bottom glide. This board forces you to surf cleanly——no bent-waist pumping or hopping. ….Spine straight, upright and tossing the cape at the curl like a proud bullfighter.
