With a book keeping her company through out the silent night, the actress had locked herself up inside her library, finding comfort in the presence of the countless of books she owns. Just as Jinri was about to flip through the next page of her most loved novel, her phone’s notification went off. With a quick roll of her eyes after she had read the message on her screen, she wanders how some people, like her friend Gun, would waste their night playing games. However, she could not comment on it harshly, knowing she had never experienced the late nights of playing around when she was busy going from one schedule to another back when she was still under her group, F(x).

the thing about videogames is: you can’t stop playing them and expect to have the same skills and reflexes you had once you pick it up again, be it weeks, months, or years later. but jaegun is no short of being a fool, so he found himself twenty minutes into the game with five losses and his friend laughing on the other line (’oh my fucking god, gun, you’re so lame’ ‘why don’t you keep munching on your pizza and choke? would do me a favor’). he should have expected it, when was the last time he picked up his console? eight months ago? definitely more. and it was hard not to, what with the gaming culture in south korea, the nerds he had for friends and him being an overall sucker for videogames. goddamn it, there’s no going back now. he threw the gamepad to his left, body falling loose into the sofa. he pinched the bridge of his nose, fingers running through the dark strands of disheveled hair; shaking his head, he took a long sip of the tepid coffee ─it was definitely going to be a long night─, hand reaching to grab his phone and go through the messages.
