Alec is already kicking off his boots haphazardly across Magnus’s apartment as soon as he walks through the door, shrugging off his black bomber jacket and wincing at the pain shooting through his left shoulder. Jace and Izzy had tried to apply an Iratze rune to his shoulder before he’d returned to his boyfriends apartment, but he’d dismissed them both with a wave of his hand, assuring them he was fine and he could do it himself once he arrived home at the apartment. It had only been a routine patrol, searching the streets of downtown Brooklyn for any illegal Downworlder activity or demon sightings, when they stumbled across a nest of Moloch demons in some underground tunnels. Izzy had complained about the sewage water ruining her pair of new boots the entire time, scowling at them for not warning her they would be wading through the dark and murky water of Brooklyn’s underground tunnel system. Jace had apologised sarcastically for having not foreseen this happening when he had consulted with his crystal ball before leaving the Institute. Alec smiled reluctantly, promising his sister that he would replace the boots for her if they were beyond repair. Any other time and he would have rolled his eyes and scoffed at his sister for not wearing appropriate demon hunting attire, but he had been buried in important Clave business more than usual lately and he was just happy to be out of the Institute, joining his sister and his Parabatai on their patrol like the good old days.

The Shadowhunter trio had dispatched the nest of Moloch demons fairly quickly, but not before one of them had sunk their claws into Alec’s shoulder blade. He staggered forward, jerking his elbow backwards into the demon’s face before Jace delivered the killing blow with his Seraph blade, slicing the demon in half, oily black blood splattering across the three of them. Izzy muttered something in Spanish, but her voice was too low for him to hear but he was certain he was going to be buying her a new pair of boots after all.

Alec pulled his t-shirt over his head, tossing it into the laundry basket. Alec grabbed his Stele out of his pocket, reached over his left shoulder and began to apply the Iratze rune just like he promised Jace and Izzy he would. The tip of his Stele was hot and stung his skin under the wound on his shoulder blade, but Alec was used to it by now. Years of having Jace and Izzy mark his body with runes had numbed him to the feeling that had once made his skin feeling like it was burning. Once he was finished the stinging began to ebb, as well as the pain in his shoulder as his skin began to slowly knit itself back together.

1 ( NAME / ALIAS ):  kevin! 2 ( BIRTHDAY ):  december 3rd 4 ( HEIGHT ):  i always thought i was like 5′9″ but i’m probably closer to 5′6″ / 5′7″ 5 ( HOBBIES ): roleplaying, binge watching tv shows and reading books tbh. i used to be big into drawing even though i wasn’t so good at it  6 ( FAVOURITE COLOUR(S) ): blue, purple, green and black.  7 ( FAVOURITE BOOKS ): listen the mortal instruments was the first book/series i ever read so it has a special place in my heart even though i hate casserole clare but others i love are vampire academy, six of crows, call me by your name, simon vs the homosapien agenda and en amber in the ashes! 8 ( LAST SONG LISTENED TO ): youth by shawn mendes! listen i don’t know when i became a shawn mendes stan but i’m not proud of it ok.  9 ( LAST FILM WATCHED ):  thor: ragnarok! i just rewatched it the other day with my best mate. oh my god, the hammer pulled you off?! 10 ( INSPIRATION FOR MUSE ): i promise i’m not copying @neganhq‘s answer to this question but buffy the vampire slayer is a very important show to me and it really shaped who i am as a person and i always find myself drawing inspiration from at least one if not multiple characters from the btvs universe. like one of my oldest and favourite muses dylan abrams, has a lot of faith lehane inspiration 11 ( DREAM JOB ): lmao idek and not to be a bummer but that worries/stresses me out sometimes bc like i do not want to be in retail the rest of my life but i also don’t know what else i’d want to do or what else i’m good at other than selling perfume lmao??? when i was younger i wanted to own a bar like Piper from Charmed or be a graphic designer lmao at one point my bi ass wanted to be a fashion designer  12 ( MEANING BEHIND YOUR URL ): it’s a reference to daisy johnson’s quake gauntlets that were designed to absorb her quaking powers to stop her from hurting herself but were then upgraded after she gained control of her power to help her have better aim basically.
