Heyooo! I got some leftovers from the con and figured it was time to post them here! I used to have Mercy too, but she sold out at the con o<-< I WILL be making more in the future of the other Overwatch characters, but these are the ones I have for now. Steer Clear of Play-Asia

Play-Asia is a popular website that probably a lot of us (including myself) have used at some point to import games that are never going to see a western release/some toy or figure that is never going to leave Japan

Recently, Koei-Tecmo, Publishers of the Dead or Alive series, decided they would not be bringing Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 to the west because of “issues regarding the representation of women in video games”.

Here’s where Play-Asia comes in. Earlier today they advertised on Twitter that you could import the English language version of the game from them and chose an interesting angle to spin sales of the game:

Yes. You are seeing this correctly. Play-Asia, the company who specialize in import games, are blaming DOAX3′s non-release in the west on Social Justice

Obviously, this tweet upset a few people, and Play-Asia decided to make another tweet

And it only gets worse from here. They then go on to retweet a joke about trigger warnings

Which they then gleefully respond to

And then it actually gets worse. They decide to go the whole hog and proudly endorse pedophilia on their page

At this point people are quite rightly very upset and begin tweeting that they are going to boycott Play-Asia, who in turn start actively gloating

So yeah, turns out: Play-Asia (or whoever is running the Twitter account) is run by literally the worst people imaginable. I have since learned that GamerGate is now involved with the original post Play-Asia made appearing on the KotakuInAction sub-reddit which is well noted to be the gathering place for most GGers.  

What should we do? If you have a Twitter account, you should probably block and report the Play-Asia twitter account and any other accounts involved.

Discontinue using Play-Asia to import games and let any of your like-minded friends  who may have also used their services know about what has happened.

If you still wish to import games in future AmiAmi provides the exact same service without the gross Twitter posts.

Thank you for your time, remember to let your friends/co-workers/relatives know about this despicable behavior and maybe we can put a dent in their sales.
