My topic will cover social distancing and its importance. I plan on creating a poster that works as a simple reminder as to why it is ideal to keep a 6ft away from people. I intend on developing a minimalist design that can be understood at a quick glance. The use of familiar forms (like human figures and arrows maybe) will make it easier to convey this message with minimal words.

Brand Mark-
Target- uses simple circular forms. The name of the company can easily be distinguished just by looking at this logo. The colors red and white allude to the colors on a typical real target. I like the use of simple visual references that can be easily connected to the name of the store.
Pepsi- The logo is made up of simple shapes, easily associated with the beverage, and can stand on its own with no words.The steady curvature of the lines is what mainly catches my eyes.
Combo Mark-
Mastercard- simple type of company name located under illustration of two circles colliding together. The logo’s symmetry helps with the overall balance.
Shell- Bold red lettering located under the image of a shell easily catches the viewers attention as to what the company name is. The use of brights colors further grasps at the viewers attention. The shell image itself is not that complicated but is just enough to convey the idea of what the form is.
Emblem-
Jaguar- one of the many jaguar logos features the image of the animal itself with the name of the company listed above it. This design is neatly held within a circle. This design rightfully fits under the emblem category because it is designed to be the car’s front badge containing both name and image together. There is a slight use of foreshortening in the jaguar image. I like this reference to the idea of power that the company wants to show in their cars.
NASA- The NASA logo is contained mainly within a circle. surrounding the name, there are illustrations referencing to NASA’s space exploration. The red stride and white asteroid that cuts in front of the NASA letters gives it a sense of space and dimension.

Gatorade- At first glance, the most noticeable thing about the bottle is the Gatorade logo. The logo over the years has stayed relatively the same. The name of the flavor is highlighted by the color of the drink itself. To the consumer, this makes it very easy to distinguish between different flavors at a glance. The target audience for this drink includes more athletic individuals. The overall design of the bottle is simple, as the Gatorade brand is recognizable all around the globe. The words and description are short and to the point. This also alludes to the popularity of Gatorade, in which it is a very well-known brand. One reference to the original Gatorade flavor is the common orange cap.
Vitamin Water- The Vitamin Water brand uses up the space on the bottle to its full potential. On the majority of the label, it describes the properties of the drink. The color of the beverage also tends to coincide with the flavor. Again, at first glance, the consumer is able to infer the flavor just by immediate observation. Vitamin Water appeals to more health conscious individuals. The aesthetic of the design on the bottle is very minimalistic and uses more information to convey what it is advertising, rather than eye-catching designs.
