Way to be useless Qhuinn, the wolf berated herself, when she could do nothing more than stare. He probably didn’t even need her help, it had likely been a ploy to cop an early feel or something of the sort. She really was rooted to the spot in surprise though, only moving she heard Remus whimper behind her legs. “S’ok bud..” she muttered, scooping the fluffball into her arms. She pressed her face into his neck, thinking it would give her a few second to recover. But things around her continued to move at a whirling speed, and all she could do was follow Gus with her wide gray eyes.

“Sorry! I..though that you would have known to not go through any trouble. I didn’t think that..” I didn’t think that you cared enough to, she finished in her mind. Qhuinn finally laughed as he continued to run about, shaking her head. “Right..because a tee and a pair of cutoffs take up so much room” she smirked, unsure if he had even heard her.

In a second Hurricane Gus was gone from the room, and she was left to her own befuddled devices. Putting Remus down, she did a few turns then went on to what she did best: taking care of people. Once Remus was settled, she went to the snacks that she had packed, setting everything out then wandering through his kitchen till she found what she needed to put on a pot of coffee. While that brewed, she went back and sat tentatively on the mattress, smoothing her Rick and Morty shirt and just..waited.

It was a quick shower.

Not actual bathing. Not actual washing. Just enough for Gus to feel comfortable once more. And whilst he thoroughly enjoyed every steaming hot bead of water that fall from the shower head and onto his naked skin, he got out not long after he got in.

He had company.

Company he needed to check up on. Perhaps not as quickly as he had showered but definitely more thoroughly, Gus toweled himself off. The excess water that had once clung to him now soaked up, Gus wrapped the towel around his waist, took the now empty can of coke and re-entered the main living area. The Nephilim wasn’t too sure why people decided to live off-campus. The suites were large enough and were more than comfortable.

Or at least by his estimation.

“So,” he said, crushing said aluminium can and tossing it into the bin. “Which one of these snacks is caramel flavoured and which ones do you suggest?” Gus took one of the numerous little cupcakes and bit into it. “Fuck, these are good. You make em?”
