I dont think I can trust my white friends anymore. I talked about how America elected trump because of white people's racism or indifference to it and a white (now ex) friend of mine threw "I don't believe race exists, but how is racism to blame for this if Obama got elected?" Then I responded to her saying that I'm not going to be silenced anymore when I talk about race and then she sent me these really angry messages, cussing at me and calling a racist. I couldn't fucking believe it.
White people are dangerous to have as friends because a lot of them want to say the understand you but they can’t so they invalidate your feelings and experiences to equate to theirs. I don’t blame you
