for this board i debated going full pink, glitter, and sparkles but i feel like with girldad ethan is so beyond cozy and mellow. all your story books are well worn from countless story times, you have a collection of patchwork quilts and knitted throws, ethan’s favorite pastime with you is brushing your hair and working his fingers through little catches and tangles. he also selfishly enjoys when you can’t sleep or have a bad dream because he’ll hold you and sway you in a gentle rocking motion and mumble little sweet nothings until you’re asleep against his shoulder. you guys go to antique malls and farmers markets together and meander for hours before you get tired and he hikes you up onto his hip. whenever you do something out of your comfort zone — even if it’s just trying a new food — he says what a brave girl you are. his compliments are almost always about your character and he’s really big on kindness and manners. ugh….
