“Frog City”
My main Idea was to create a fancy catfish man with big whiskers and a monocle and such, realizing I couldn't get a catfish picture I switched to a frog. When I Went to take the picture I wasn't sure exactly how I wanted it so I had my model do a bunch of different poses and positions.The more we walked the more it came to me. I took that crouching picture in the back and I Thought to have a little parade of frogmen would focus the picture.
Later messing with the image I placed the other background frogs with other pictures we had taken. I created the background with this exotic looking flower that we happened to walk by and this tunnel that I used in this black hole image I had taken. I used a tree to blend the background and some rapids coming out of the tunnel. The rapids are about four different rapid pictures to create that wide river.
I took the images at the location of the river, but it was really bright, and since the background was the dead trees selecting what I actually wanted was difficult. So it caused some issues with the piece. I also struggled with the shadow of the hole itself. I couldn't quite get it to the right position I wanted. I Do really like what I have, I just maybe would have used a better tunnel picture that fit better in the image.
