“I am awfully greedy; I want everything from life. I want to be a woman and to be a man, to have many friends and to have loneliness, to work much and write good books, to travel and enjoy myself, to be selfish and to be unselfish… You see, it is...

"Pre-existing conditions" was practiced first on disabled people. Israel knows it works to excuse genocide because we made it the rationale for dropping covid mitigations.

Conservative: haha you people believed covid was real!!? It was a hoax designed to get biden into office and it was also a bioweapon created by china. Wearing masks infringes my right to be an asshole
Liberal: omg covid was real some people died i guess! Biden stopped it though :)
Leftist: I was masking up until like 2023 where I decided to forget about it :) I secretly know that covid is still a problem but I don’t want to think about it
Immunocompromised/chronically ill/long covid patients/ and anyone who still cares about reality :

When people complain about being locked in their houses for months end on end because of covid, remember this image is from June 2020.

Public health is on the decline because Americans in general hate all things collectivist, even tiny things like washing their hands or covering their faces when they feel sick. No wonder covid is a massive lingering issue, and no wonder they want to make long covid a personal problem instead of a societal one. Capitalism breeds individualism. Both are social ills posing as moral beacons.

[ID: a tweet posted by Covid Caution - LP.8.1, NB.1.8.1, XFC, XEC (@CovidCaution) on May 27, 2025, which says, “Published in the Evening Star, Washington DC, October 16, 1918. People don't change.”
The scanned newspaper clipping says, “Self-Consciousness. ‘Why don’t you wear your influenza mask?’ ‘I’m afraid I might look funny.’ ‘Suppose you do. Wouldn’t you rather introduce a little comedy into your household than subject it to a tragedy?’”

Btw trans women are among the most impacted by SARS-CoV2, largely as a consequence of the poverty/lack of housing that arises from institutional transmisogyny—having to risk more dangerous jobs (including survival sex work), lack of adequate healthcare, incarceration, and/or unsafe living conditions. Trans women are also leading research and communications regarding SARS-CoV2 to this day, which many clearly ignore. I’m beyond uninterested in how a stranger chooses to intentionally misinterpret a clearly anti-eugenicist position by deceptively placing transfemininity as counter to it. THANK YOU ❤️

I've been wondering for a good bit since I've been hearing relatives of acquaintances have to deal with SJS/TEN more if it has something to do with covid. One of the ways you could be more vulnerable to getting a reaction like SJS/TEN is if you have hiv and I know covid-19 attacks your immune system pretty similarly to how hiv does so I wonder if that's why there's so many more people than I would've expected just three degrees or less connected to me who had experienced it especially considering I got my condition just a few months after I got long covid from getting covid.

Masks at protests: *don't really work against facial recognition without other gear. Won't protect you from tear gas.*
People: "You GOTTA wear this baggy blue at the protest."
Masks for covid: *Even baggy blue medical masks significantly reduce the spread of illness, both symptomatic and asymptomatic. This worked so well we drove the Yamagata-b strain of flu into extinction in 2020-2021. Quality respirators with a good fit (kf94 or better) will keep you from inhaling 80-100% of aerosols in a given ebvironment. Have cute patterns and charms and you can customize some to look really cool. Keeps you from catching any other airborne illness too. Works against smoke and dust that also have massive health risks. Keeps disabled people safe in public, a space they should be able to exist without fear unless you're a nazi. I'm literally asking you to wear them to the store and when you feel sick holy shit. Wearing a mask only at protests helps to back up the fascist demands for mask bans.*
People: "I'm good. It's too hot. It's ugly. You have to live your life. You can't live in fear forever. *barely veiled health supremacist rhetoric*"
