Hi everyone! Today’s post is a little bit different because this wonderful art you see was so kindly gifted to me by my dear friend @trashforazriel! Laura allowed me to pick the pose, concept etc for all the details in this art and @: zolyna_ did such a flawless job bringing it to life!

I love the idea of Gwyn and Az doing ice dancing together and the pose is a reference from Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, two Canadian ice dancing legends! I hope you all love this art as much as I do and thank you so so much Laura for gifting this to me!

az has always been the protector because he feels he needs to prove his worth at every possible opportunity, i need gwyn being the overprotective one in their relationship. not only would it show az that he is worthy of love but i also think it'd help gwyn feel more in control, so a total win win situation!

It’s weird how when Azriel disagrees with a mating bond and wants it gone, it’s apparently showing that he’s “displaying his true love” and “questioning fate for his soulmate” but when Tamlin did the exact same he was delusional and wasting his damn time. 👀

yeah isn't it funny how when az displays the same red flags tamlin did it's hot?? it's actually kinda insane how similar they act with certain things and how people condemn tamlin for everything yet are perfectly fine if a brooding bat does it. like idc but at least own your hypocrisy instead of getting off on the idea that you somehow have better morals for liking/disliking fictional characters 😭

In Silver Flames Cassian thinks Nesta was "a wolf who had never learned how to be a wolf, thanks to that cage humans called propriety and society. And like any maltreated animal, she bit anyone who came near", and I loved seeing Nesta finally getting out of that cage and becoming her true self in this book.

unfortunately i saw those recent e/riel dms and wow... i can't imagine being someone with that much hate in my heart to not only spew such vitriol towards fictional characters but to wish actual harm and death on real people over these books? it genuinely hurt to read those and i hope yaz and the other person who received them are doing well
