hi trans people in my phone. The life expectancy of trans people is not 35. That is the average age of Brazilian transmisogyny affected murder victims, taken from crime data from the early 2010s. Brazilian trans women also usually live longer than 35 years; this data comes solely from the subset of trans women who are murdered, and does not account for the majority of Brazilian trans women. Murder victim age averages are not a good proxy for overall life expectancy even of the same demographic group. Take a deep breath. You have a future. Start planning for it.

How about we just have like... hey trans people, post your pay links or wishlist or whatever you got. No limits, no trans excluded, intersex welcome, any and all genders off the social conventions included. Promote other people's stuff too if it will help. I'll just reblog em a bunch. This is for everyone, anyone, and it should go without saying not to use it to police who is in our community. We are better than that.

Yes, Yes, I know the "Department of Defense" has been is a euphemism for centuries, the US military doctrine has long been much more aggressive than is implied by "Defense"

All the same it straightforwardly worrying that Trump has started pushing for it to be called the Department of War, because that's a sign the people in charge no longer care about connotations of peacefulness and that is a sign of becoming even more aggressive.

Compare and contrast Trump treating the presidency as a absolute monarchy vs the concept of Trump calling himself King of America. Don't fall into the trap of cynically going "LOL they admit it!" because being cynical feels savvy. This is important.
