The Duel Academy Island - The Outside Areas

(If you guys got any observations, just tell me. Most of things here are educated guesses based on what we can see from the series)

Most of the island is taken by a forest, which hides many localisations.

The most notable of them is the abandoned dorm. It was one extra Obelisk Blue Dorm until one year before Jaden and the others enrolled every students vanished and the place was shut down. It was covered under the pretext they were studying abroad and eventually they were saved, but the place was still dangerous and was never re-opened. Eventually, during an incident the dorm was completely destroyed, becoming but a pile of debris.

Another noteworthy spot are the Gravekeeper's Ruins, located at the woods closer to the volcano at the remote side. Not much is known about this place but supposedly it is a place with strong energy.

At a point close to the Slifer red dorms is placed the Power Plant. 

Elsewhere at the woods, hidden behind the mountains just north from the main building, lies the SAL (Super Animal Learning) lab, with a even bigger underground area. It was where professor Viper kept his experiments with the duel spirit Yubel.

The harbor is the best way in and out the island, with the vessels leading back to Domino Town. It also got it's own lighthouse and a storage area. The rooftop of the storage area also acts as a heliport.

And at the south of the island there is the beach. Sometimes the students go in there to play at the beach or swim at the sea. The rivers and waterfalls inside the island too are places where the students around in the summer.

People hardly go to the vulcano as it is still active. There is also a cliff area close to the Slifer Red where Jaden usually goes to fish and some people enjoy training their draw.

The Duel Academy Island - The Secondary Building

At the extreme eastern part of the academy, just close to the volcano, there is the secondary building

The secondary building got some extra common areas, most notably the hot springs where the students can relax whenever they feel like

As shown in season 4, it also has complete hospital facilities, capable of performing surgeries if necessary. It also have rooms for the patients and for some of the academy guests.

Currently Zane is living in there as he needs constant attention because of his heart's condition.

The Duel Academy Island - Slifer Red Dorm

At the western point of the island lies the Slifer Red dorm. There is a bridge leading to the harbor from there.

It is a very simple building and it was in a poor shape until Chazz paid for it's renovations while modifying two of the lower bedrooms into one for his own use. It even got its own restroom facilities and during season 3 was where the girls (Alexis and Blair) used to live, having kicking Chazz out of there. It is currently vacant.

The rooms got bunker beds for three people and some small conveniences like a sink. The dining room is very simple, consisting of some simple tables and benches, separated from the kitchen by a counter and a curtain. The restrooms are at an annex outside the building.

By the end of season 3, all the students moved to the other dorms and Slifer Red is empty, with the exception of Jaden and Pharaoh.

The Duel Academy Island - Ra Yellow Dorm

Southwest to the lakes is located the Ra Yellow dorm. It is a fairly simple place, with some common areas and nowhere as lustrous as the Obelisk, but the place is pretty much a comfortable one.

The rooms are individual and got single beds and mini-bar. Not much of this dorm is shown.

Currently, Hassleberry and Misawa are living in there and the dorm's headmaster is Professor Satyr.

I can duel! Ive never roleplay dueled in the style that you guys do, but Im sure I can adjust. Reggie is a great duelist as well.

The Duel Academy Island - Obelisk Blue (Female)

At the eastern area of the lake, built above the channel that leads to the river, is located the girl's dorm. The common outside area from the lake, provinding some extra privacity

There's a huge hall in the south featuring one of it's entrances. It leads to many of the common areas like the living rooms and dining halls. 

The upper floors are the girl's rooms and they are pretty much akin to the boy's dorm.

Annex to the building, the female dorm got their own hot springs, separated from the boy's for obvious reasons.

Currently Alexis, Blair, Jasmine and Mindy are living down at this dorm. Ms Fonda Fontaine is this dorm's headmaster, the PE teacher and the school's nurse.

Question! Who can duel?

If you can't, please let us know so we can think of something.

Maybe we can perform a 'choreographed' duel in some cases where is vital one of the sides to win the duel.

The Duel Academy Island - Obelisk Blue (Male)

Close to the academy main building there's a lake and around it you can find both Obelisk dorms: the male and the female one.

The male dorm is located north to the lake and was never thoroughly shown during the series. There are many common areas like living rooms and a huge dining room. 

The rooms are individual and all got double beds, high definition TV, a small living room and computers. Currently, Chazz, Syrus, Atticus and Fujiwara are living at this dorm and Professor Crowler is the headmaster of this dorm.

The Duel Academy Island - Main Building

The main building of the Duel academy is located at the center of the island. It front yard is usually a place where some students hang out and it's entrance hall got some benches and quick access to the dueling fields and the stairways.

At ground level there are the bigger dueling arena, with higher-tech equipment for the important events, like the graduation duel or special guests. 

There's also a larger area with several dueling fields were the regular practical tests are taken. Some of the P.E. classes are also conducted there, even through there are sport courts annexed to the building.

Also in the ground level there's the library where the students can do some search and the shop, which gets pretty crowded when new cards shipments arrive and at lunchtime, when everybody tries their luck with the drawbreads. Also in the first floor there's a infirmary  although the real hospital facilities are located elsewhere.

At the upper floors there are the classrooms, and all of them have a huge screen for announcements  Like in the Japanese system, the students stay in class while are the teachers who move around except in the case when different years are attending the same subject. When this happens, they all go to a sightly bigger classroom.

Above the classrooms there's the teacher's room where they can use the computer and also relax a little, and at the top floor there's the Principal's office, where Chancellor Sheppard is usually found. The place is equipped with a cozy living room as well.

At not specified points there's also a kitchen  (where the drawbreads are made), storage areas, a safe and a very advanced security system control room. Some areas can only be accessed with valid access cards

Hello there, we are still around.

I would like to ask when it is a good opportunity to start the activities  I know most of us (including myself ) got either school or college to deal with and we are going through exams. When it's good for everybody to start?

Obviously we are going to start with the new students (Reggie and David) arriving, plus the return of Misawa.

I would also like to ask everybody to track the tag gxmangarpgroup so the announcements  won't be overlooked. Thank you
