I forgot you get pokeballs after you get the dex.

I cheesed a bit and my second encounter with my rival was on the way to victory road and literally Mankey was said encounter

I then went into viridian forest and Pikachu was my first encounter, and basically wasted all BUT ONE of the six pokeballs I had.

Onwards to grind up and the then body Brock!

Well, I caught my first shiny.

It was a Golduck. Booo

I literally sat there for a solid minute looking at it going "wait, THAT is the shiny? That's so lame!"

I'm still really mad about failing the shiny Cetoddle.

Current team running into the ghost gym!

Levels in order; 51, 43, 49, 39, 43 & 48.

Fridge was caught at lvl 40, and I've been grinding swoopz for the last day to get it up to par.

I haven't had a water type on the team so far, and I swapped out pawmot because it was severely underperforming/I have a better fighting type with Breloom. I'm currently super weak to ground and I guess water? But there are contingencies in place to deal with my overall weaknesses (other team members!)

I'm testing the pseudo because ice dragon just sounds RAD but I really want to sub haxorus back in because I'm a shill for axe dragon violence lol.

I failed my first (of many) full odds shiny in Violet.

It was a Cetoddle, and my dumbass revavroom crit on it's poison jab and killed it. Ughhhhh

I should have just started hucking ultra balls at the jump instead of goblin brain kicking in and trying to chip away its health.

I am so goddamn mad right now y'all. I'm legit going to take a break for a hot minute. I am so upset with myself.

I lost all of my data from the moon emerald ROM hack I was playing, bummer I know, but we'll call that run a loss and maybe bring it back soon.

Until I bring back nuzlocke shenanigans, be prepared to see me yelling about this game, and the random team roster posts.

I chose fuecoco, and got an early fighting terra shroomish. I love breloom, and the fact that I got a fighting terra type is pretty nice y'all.

So.. I know i said I would be doing an emerald nuzlocke.

And i am, technically.

Im doing a moon emerald (ROM hack) nuzlocke!

This game is WILD. And there is NO EXCUSE for the first gym to be that brutal good GOD.

Im not going to spoil it, because you have to play it for yourself.

The second gym was a cakewalk compared to the first. It feels weird to not have an electric type on the team but SPEEDBOOST RIOLU is a m o n s t e r.

Oh yeah, and you can catch starters in the wild. Like the first encounter with your rival you can find popplio, and in the forest there is a 1% for rowlett. I made the fatal mistake of chosing Litten, but eh, fire wrestle cat is my fav

I actually had a lot of fun doing this mono-type run. I had a vendetta as we all know against raihan and his bullshit.

Look, there are two solutions to this problem:

Either make more dragons so there can be a specialist

Or just dont have a dragon speialist.

I mean for fuck sake, when fairy was introduced there was a shit ton, and even a gym leader.

Idk just gimme more dragons

And make a divergent evo for yanma to be bug/dragon. Its a DRAGONfly

Im going through the dlcs as the new champion, but im not a fan of having to have kubfu on the team for story reasons.

I wonder how long it will take to find a full odds shiny?

Either way, once im done with this nonsense ill attempt to finish legends before scarlett Johansson & Viola Davis comes out.

Im really leaning towards violet, but ill end up buying both because i am a masochist and need a second copy for nuzlockes.

I forgot that you have to body Chairman Rose and then deal with the POISON DRAGON "legendary" .

Yo, lemme take a step back and appreciate the fact that Rose is a steel specialist. It was an unfair fight for sure, but i love team composition and ACTUALLY sticking to a type (fuck you Raihan).

I have a couple screenshots of the team on my switch, but they're weirdly hard to see? And holy shit Washington (flapple) is TINY!

I forgot how nasty leon's team is. Its not crazy like Cynthia's, but mad respect.

I actually didnt dynamax any of my reptiles against him, and only took his aegislash seriously. The rest of the battle, until his gmax charizard, i cheesed with Toast (who is a MONSTER). I HAD to bring in Moka for ace vs. Ace.

I mean, it doesnt hurt that my whole ass team was almost at level 70 (with my ace being at 73), but cutscenes aside, i had a decent enough time crushing this game as a proper dragon specialist.

I also went on a journey to the isle of armor and i have to train a kubfu (ugh). This is the only non-dragon that will EVER be on the team, only because of story reasons.

I honestly thought Avery was either non-binary, or female. But, hey who knows, he might be trans. 🤷 regardless, he is a piece of shit.

Honey is honestly the best character of this dlc, fight me.

I got a shiny tyranitar on my original playthrough, and then it took me until crown tundra to get a female nidoran on my first wonderlocke (i boxed it IMMEDIATELY).

I will lose my mind if my first full odds shiny is a dragon type.

Ps. I am an idiot and havent been showing Zippo the Duralidon as gmax. Which he most definitely is. So that has been corrected.
