The reason Hera’s ending works and Bix and Belinda’s don’t is because a) Hera had actually shown a maternal drive throughout the show instead of it being tacked on later and b) we first see Hera piloting the ghost as Sabine tells us she fought in the battle of Endor before showing us Jacen, rather than highlighting her as a single mom before saying she still a pilot, or just showing her standing around with a baby and not telling us anything else that happened to her

after how much love my tenrose piece got, I had to make something for ninerose! I started watching with NuWho so Nine was my first Doctor <333 Bad Wolf / Parting of The Ways is one of my favorite Nine era episodes (up there with Father's Day and Rose!! )

I just can't get over the idea of Rose staying with the doctor, and, I feel like Ten would be a lot less worried about his inevitable regeneration if she was around, just because she'd been though one before and stayed with him so maybe he wouldn't feel like it wasn't such a loss, just a change, but more I just keep picturing Rose's initial reaction, like he's just regenerated, the Tardis is crashing, she's trying to pilot while he's like

"Still got leg! And arms!"

"That's nice love, could use a little help here though!"

"Still not ginger! Rose can you believe this!?"

"We'll get some box dye if we survive the landing yeah!?"

And then they're both laughing, running around trying to not crash- of course they still do, and they end up in the pool. Rose gets her first proper look at him as she breaks the water's surface, and the first thing she says is, "Oh my god!"

And he's panicked for a second, dispite her big bright smile. Still sloshing in the water, his hands reach for his face- eyes, nose, it all feels there, Gallifreyen as always- "blimey, I've got a chin, don't I!?"

And then Rose is laughing, pulling him close, as she says, "You're so cute!!" With the most delighted voice. And then she's peppering his face with kisses and giggling and he's wrapping his arms around her to keep them both afloat, and he really has to say, as reaction to his regenerations go, this might just rank at the top.

Might have to do it more offten- well no. Actually, can't do it again at all. Oh he's gonna have to bring that up at some point... yikes.

And I really just imagine Rose being smitten and flirty and just happy with Eleven in a way she wasn't with Ten, not untill the very end anyway, because she finally can be, they're together, and they're together and everything going right for once.

Even this regeneration, sad as it is on some level, to say goodbye, doesn't feel like an end. Just a natural change. And she's so relieved that she feels this way after his regeneration. She'd been afraid it would be different than last night, even though she knew it was coming and she knew what would happen.

But here he is, a whole new new man. But he's bouncy and excitable, and that's not new. Even if it is dialed up 10 fold, she finds as they wreck miss Amial Ponds kitchen, dirtying pots and soaking the floor, and in general just goofing off to get the girl to smile.

She asks if he wants a setsuma, when apples ans bakedbean and butter toast have all failed, and while Amelia doesn't have any, it does get a laugh from them, and curious look from Amelia as she offers them another apple with a little smiley on it.

Then, he's off up the stairs and helping a little girl scared of monster, just like the old him, and the old old him, anf she knows, again, its all still him, always.

And then I just imagine he's getting dressed in the hospital, he sends Rose and the Ponds up to the roof. And Rose is the one holding the Atraxi's attention with the whole "is it defended!?"

And it goes threw the holographic montage of the doctors faces, faces Rose has seen and ones she hasn't, and she's supised to find the imagines of 9 and 10 have her right next to them, and even in between, for just a moment, there's the Bad Wolf, but just as the last face is fading, her most familiar face, some one steps up next to her, and pulls her fowards with them by an arm her waste. They step through the hologram and face the atraxi.

"Hello! I'm the Doctor, this is Rose Tyler. Basically, run."

And then they're do and he turns to Rose, adjusting the bowtie with a "What do you think? New new new face, new new new threads... yeah okay never saying that again, either, fine."

To which Rose responds by runs her fingers through his hair and pulls him in for another kiss. "I think you're bowtie's very cute!" She says, pulling away.

"Cute!? Cute!? I will have you know Rose Tyler, bowties are cool!"

Which just starts a running gag of, any time some one comments on the bowtie, and he starts to says "bowties are coo-" Rose interrupts, with an equal level of offense to say "his bowties are cute!"

Anyway what I'm saying is ths rose/eleven dynamic would absolutely be a boss bitch and her babygirl in absolute, besotted, puppy love, having the time of their lives across time and space and I'll heard nothing against it

(Also imagine her popping the suspenders against his chest, anytime he let's her hands go wandering 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣)

y'all Empire of the Wolf 2 is literally killing me with these dynamics I am OBSESSED with the Roses and her Doctors like

first we have Eight and Rose; he's sceptical of her but also is so intrigued by this woman who's inviting him into this brand new adventure? this woman who gets him??

and then there's Eleven and Empress Rose! he is so tentatively hopeful and stressed about the prospect of seeing her again and he's so upset when she doesn't know him the way she should. like, he allows himself to get his hopes up and gets CRUSHED. but she's still Rose?

AND HE SEES HER LIFE WITH TENTOO!

AND THEN HE MEETS THE REAL ROSE AND HE'S SO HAPPY MOMENTARILY BUT ALSO HE KNOWS SHE'S WITH TENTOO NOW! and boy oh boy does she tell him off for bickering with Eight

bonus: Eleven and Rose being silly together because they are in love, ft. Eight confused as all hell because they are conspiring together to keep secrets from him!

There are so many wonderful little moments I didn't have the space to include in this post but I absolutely love this comic and I am so happy we're being fed so well 😭 also the new Tentoo and Rose kiss and a new Mia panel? Bless!!!! 🙏

The way Gilroy is so defensive against rebelcaptain is so incredibly funny to me 😭😭😭 he definitely doesn’t know that quote is essentially going to keep the ship ignited for another decade or so. If he had kept his statement Switzerland about both ships, I guarantee the hype would’ve died down slowly.

Ultimately, it’s down to him and the way he positioned Bix in within her own ship. I felt more buzz and chemistry between Cassian and Niya than Cassian and Bix in S2 (even CassianBix S1 had more chemistry) and Niya was a just filler character.

people have always loved to crucify jyn for the things that they'll forgive cassian for in a heartbeat but oh boy oh has it been so much worse recently.

Jyn forgets her latest temporary employer’s com code, but she knows their name. As such, she decides to consult the com code holobook. But rather than contacting her employer, she ends up contacting the com code of Rebellion intelligence operative, Fulcrum, alias Cassian Andor, instead.

Naturally, Cassian is very much confused why in hell there is a Liana Hallik calling at 03:00 hours and why she’s demanding payment for something he didn’t even commission at all. He ignores the call and goes back to sleep.

Unfortunately for him, the aforementioned Liana won’t stop calling him until she’s paid what she’s owed. Or else she’ll track him down.

In which, Jyn essentially ruins one of Cassian’s missions and Cassian finds one Jyn Erso very much earlier than scheduled.
