oh my god i've not been on here in a ridiculously long time. think i'll probably delete this blog now because its just been sitting here doing nothing.
my life still feels like a mess, but thats really no surprise. i'm leaving school in around four months and it just makes me incredibly sad and anxious because im going to lose all my friends and i'll probably end up killing myself but i suppose i cant expect much else
i hope everyone on here that follows me is ok

i try to tell myself that i dont love him but i'm also very frightened that it mightve reached that stage. he's just what i want and it hurts so bad knowing that he doesnt want me in that way at all. he's content to be my friend though, so i should try and be content with it too

Under the current ‘tyranny of slenderness’ women are forbidden to become large or massive; they must take up as little space as possible. The very contours of a woman’s body takes on as she matures - the fuller breasts and rounded hips - have become distateful. The body by which a woman feels herself judged and which by rigorous discipline she must try to assume is the body of early adolescence, slight and unformed, a body lacking flesh or substance, a body in whose very contours the image of immaturity has been inscribed. The requirement that a woman maintain a smooth and hairless skin carries further the theme of inexperience, for an infantilized face must accompany her infantilized body, a face that never ages or furrows its brow in thought. The face of the ideally feminine woman must never display the marks of character, wisdom, and experience that we so admire in men.

“I always get asked, ‘Where do you get your confidence?’ I think people are well meaning, but it’s pretty insulting. Because what it means to me is, ‘You, Mindy Kaling, have all the trappings of a very marginalized person. You’re not skinny, you’re not white, you’re a woman. Why on earth would you feel like you’re worth anything?’”

because the pointy bit can't leave the screen. when you drag it to the right and the bottom, you still see the small point.
i genuinely only just realised this lol i am amazed
why cant a cursor go through the top or the left of the screen but it can the right and the bottom??????
these things haunt me at night
