I'm not the only one who doesn't get the point of SOLID or data "outsourcing" in general. The apps are still probably centralized, still probably proprietary, they still have access to your data, they'll probably cache and analyze it however they want, etc.

I'm impressed that Chrome beta already has an implementation of Web Packaging and can now show AMP pages without the much-reviled header. Now that AMP is effectively invisible, complaints from AMP haters should pretty much disappear (or their complaints will be sound like conspiracy theories and be ignored).
