UPDATE: Pumpkin is stable but the have found lymphoma on her liver, she is making good recovery but were worried about the possibility of remission. My roommate has almost maxed out the credit the vet offered her.

Anything towards this would be amazing

Hi, my roommates cat is in a dire situation of needing over $1,000 by the end of the week to maintain her cats health. She was recently diagnosised with lymphoma on Friday. She's responding well to just chemo along with the meds and we found out what the cost was going to be today.

Getting lost

Things that have happened while working in an office:

- A paper bag getting stuck in a tree outside the office window and my coworkers having casual commentary about if it'll make it out each time it catches a breeze

- A serious group chat and a separate group chat being made for silly, as we were being too silly for the single group chat

- Dnd in the conference room

- The rain hits and suddenly work is no longer a priority, just the desire to be home

- Casino Team Building trip!!! ( voluntary not mandatory )

- "Hey when's your birthday" "Tomorrow". "Wait your birthday is today?" "I told you yesterday".

- Regular references to severance or the office depending on the mood of my coworkers

- White coworker explaining the intricacies of the Kendrick & Drake beef to my black coworker

- Sketchy stuff that hr may shrug off

- "Look at my tan" white person who is orange

- Serious conversation with the team about being kind to one another

- The word skibiddi comes up more often than you expect

Story wip idea atm, nothing strong but this bit is written from the perspective of Roman who murdered his own mother and is now writing a fictional story to cope.

Im calling the book Case Files and basically you'll know the who, what, where & when. But the goal of the reader will be to figure out why:

**The Queen's Death**

*By Roman Walters*

By the end of the evening, Rafael had broken four of the Lord's ten commandments and two of the Queen's. By the end of the week, he will be hung for his blasphemous and treasonous acts.

*Thou Shall Not Kill*

For he stabbed the Queen and sent her to their Lord's kingdom. The empty vessel that once contained her soul bled out in front of several members of the royal court. The white fabric of her hand stitch dressed stained red. The last look in her eyes had been one of betrayal.

*Thou Shall Respect Thy Mother and Father*

Rafael just laughed as the King snatched the bloody sword from him, striking his son across his face. That didn't stop his laughter though as he collapsed in front of his mother's throne and looked up at the corpse that remained, moving to craddle her face in his hands.

"And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I smite them? shall I smite them? " His lips had curved into a wide smile. On lookers viewing Rafael would claim he held sickening glee upon his mother's demise, but only the assailant himself would know the hot tears that burned down his face as he came to terms with what he had done.

A strong arm pulled him off the corpse and pinned him to the ground as he let out another laugh, staring into his father's haunted and horrified expression. What is he thinking of his son? This child he raised commited a heinous act of murder in the name of the Lord upon the woman who birthed him. What else could he be thinking besides Horror. only pure horror.

*Thou Shall Not Take The Lord's Name in Vain*

"And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him afraid: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the queen only" Rafael's voice echoed off the high ceiling of the throne room, the knights restraining his wrists with rough rope and lifting him off the ground.

"What shall we do with him, my lord?" One of the knights asked, a tall man that Rafael had once trusted in his youth, but reality showed why that trust had been unnecessary.

"My lord, as if this isn't the day of rest given as a blessing to us" Rafael snarked as the King just waved them away, kneeling in front of his Queen's corpse and holding her hands tightly.

it's kind of sad that we don't really do custom ringtones anymore. most people just stick with the default list that comes with your phone, if they change it at all. if they're even aware they can change it at all. like yeah, people letting their phones ring in public is obnoxious, but wouldn't it be a little less obnoxious if it was something funny? or personal? people used to change the text tone of every contact so every time they got a text they knew who it was just from the sound. isn't that sweet? isn't that nice? don't you miss it? don't you want to scream when you hear that stupid apple pa-Ting!??? we could have a chorus of awoogas and clips of people's favorite songs and recordings saying '(blank) IS CALLING, WARNING, (blank) IS CALLING' and all things considered i would prefer that over pa-Ting!, pa-Ting!, pa-Ting!, whistle whistle, pa-Ting!

anyway im going to change my ringtone to the oldschool skype call sound and nobody will ever hear it because my phone is always on silent but i'll know. i'll know
