It's almost certain that if we go in, even with Ishmael and the other Hong Lu (not the one we're going up against, but the one working with N Corp.), someone'll get hurt badly. I know you struggle with it, but we might have to perform some stealth. Devise some plan around that.

From what Gregor told me, Pierrot was killed while engaging in combat with this alternate Hong Lu. We need to plan what we are going to do, first, and then decide whether fighting will benefit us or not. As Gregor said, we won't be able to do anything dead.

A temporary truce is agreeable. I cannot believe I have to interact with Mirror Worlds, but I'd much prefer Hong Lu to be alright.

The goal is to get Hong Lu out of where he is being held. Although conflict is a given, if we can somehow complete this with minimal amounts of it, I believe we stand better chances of being successful. After we rescue him, we return him to my Mirror World, and then we can ask him what happened from there. The truce ends when Hong Lu is safe and comforted.

Tell your Director it is very urgent.

Typically I would choose the bacon, as that is infinitely times more useful to me and the people around me, but I am still playing Castlevania and enjoying it... Then again, it is just a game, and I can easily replicate the gameplay loop by going into the Mirror Dungeons. Therefore, I will choose the first option. That, and the second one is nonsense.

Isn't it so weird how alternate versions of people you trust display the sides of them that you've never seen before? Now you know just how horrible they are and how unredeemable they can be. Doesn't it make it hard to look at your friends the same way that you've always seen them after knowing what they are capable of?

Hello. Although I do find the personality changes between Identities to be jarring on some occasions (for example, the difference between The One Who Grips Faust and LCB Sinner Faust), I do not let it affect how I feel about the version of themselves that I know. As far as I concern myself, I work with the LCB, and the Identities are just tools that we use for success. Maybe that's a harsh way of putting it, because they are technically people, just different universes, but it's the way I've always seen it.

I do agree that it is weird, but circumstance breed character. It is just the way that their lives have gone, that have led them to be the way they are. And although I may think a certain way about the Identities, it is ultimately up to the people they have involved themselves with to decide whether they are unredeemable. Like I said, I see them as tools to fight enemies with - maybe weapons would be a better word.

I know I have to think rationally. You are right, that we're better doing something from the sidelines alive than jumping in and immediately dying. But you know better than anyone else on this bus how essential a comrade is to the entire unit. We can't lose Hong Lu, and that's why we have to act fast and with as much efficiency as possible.
