I have been deep spring cleaning these past couple of days. I always yearn for spring at this time of the year; the lighter days make my mood so much better. It’s crunch time for deadlines and I’m reminding myself to enjoy being a student while it lasts.

only four days late in posting my march theme! as per march tradition i went for a green theme again - i’ve gone along the same vein as february in using a colour i’ve used several times before but not fully utilised. the other news of this month is that i go back to school in person next week! we’re all getting tested twice a week now, so hopefully it will all go well.

Hi friends! I’ve been getting back into studying Japanese. I’m trying to not put too much pressure on that and enjoy the ride. Mostly working on doing small bits of work consistently. I’m putting most of that energy into listening practise because that’s (I think) my biggest weakness when it comes to Japanese.

March 30, 2021 // Morning ritual.

I get asked a lot about the notebooks I use, so here are the two I use for journaling. I use a pocket-sized Moleskine daily planner as a place to write down brief thoughts or experiences from my day. I use my Leuchtturm1917 notebook (this color is called “rising sun”) for to-do lists, taking notes during work meetings, and longer prose. Both of these brands are relatively expensive (around $20 usd) but I love the style and quality.
