Kangaroos have strong long tails. the tail is used by the kangaroos for balance. Their strong legs are made for hopping high and jumping fast. Kangaroos only live in hot places in Australia. They eat grass, leaves, and plants because they are herbivores. Dingos, foxes, and eagles are enemies to kangaroos. When kangaroos smell danger they leap away to a safe place. Only female kangaroos have puches where their joeys live six months or more. After six months the joey gets out of their mother’s pouch because they are too big for it. They start to hunt for their own food.

Kangaroos can look out for danger.

Lion guard

Lion Guard is one of my favourite Disney cartoons. It’s like the Lion King with additional characters. My favourite character from Lion Guard is all of them. Their names are Kion and Bunga and Beshte the hippo, and Ono the bird, then Fuli the cheetah. Kion can do a big roar and blow the bad guys. The bad guys are hyenas and jackals. They have a lion tattoo. Kion’s dad is the king of the junggel.

Ninjago

Ninjago is one of my favourite movies. Those ninja’s names are Zane, Kai, Jay, and Cole. Their powers are ice, fire, rock, and electricity. The strongest power is every power that all the Ninjas have.The strongest bad guy is the guy who has metal arms.The Ninjas can do a big tornado.

Ninja Turtle

Ninja turtle is one of my favourte movies because they fight with Shredder, the boss of the bad guys. The turtles’ names are Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael.

Leonardo’s weapon is a sword. Donatello has a stick. Michaelangelo uses nunchucks. Twin sai belongs to Raphael. Leo’s mask colour is blue, and Raph’s mask colour is red, and Mike’s mask colour is orange, Donnie’s mask colour is purple.

Shredder is so powerful that the turtle felt it was hard to beat Shredder.

I  went to Coromandel and I went to the Cathedral cove beach.  I was swimming in the ocean and I got flushed by the waves. I built a sandcastle and made a sand angel, then jumped on the waves. My friends and I made a big pool so when the water goes into the pool we can swim on it too.

Me

One of my friends calls me Hadid, but that is not my real name. I am seven years old. I live in New Zealand now because my mum is studying here. We are from Indonesia. My mom is a teacher, like my teacher Mrs. Hills. I am on year two at school. I like colouring and playing with my mum’s laptop.

Nexo knight

Nexo knight is my favourite movie because it is cool. Good guy Clay and evil Jestro used to be friends. They are not friends any more because Jesttro wants to be a bad clown.

Play date with Dio

I went to my friend’s house, he is 7 years old just like me. We went to skate park & climbed on that big hill. We ate some chips & we went home to his house & played war & I had super powers.

Dio had a gun & he shot the zombie & the witches. Ilona stayed home & she cried & cried & cried because she didn’t go with us.

Summer Reading

Yay!!! it’s Summer Reading Day. Summer Reading is a program from City Library. We read as many books as we can. I have to bring my folder every time to report in to read to the staff. I have read The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse and other books.

For every report in I get a sticker. We have to get all 5 stickers and we will get a prize. The prizes are a bag, a beach ball, a water gun, and a lunch box.

hunting stamps in parks

Yesterday I went to Esplanade  garden to hunt for stamps. If you got all 10 stamps you will get prizes. I went with my mum, dio, ilo, iki, sarah, Seno and  Mbak Dhita, Mbak yayi and Dek Ray. After Esplanade I went to Linklater reserve and played rolling down the hill and we heard music from a guy from China. He played flute, the song was happy birthday and twinkle twinkle little star.

Pokemon

Ash is a Pokemon trainer and he is a very clever kid. His Pokemon is Pikachu the electric type of Pokemon. I have a Pokemon pillow and i got it from Mbak Monik, bu Ning’s daughter, for  my birthday. 

I got the Pokemon book from my mum, she bought it from Schoolastic lucky book club.

Dinosaurs

Dinosaur lived long time ago and the king was a  t-Rex  he was the fiercest.

triceratops  was the strongest. I like Dinosaurs.

When I was a baby I used to have fat cheeks and pee on my mum. I like the  picture of me when I was 6 wearing a stripy t-shirt. I feel like I was in Indonesia.

I went to the beach and i collected hundreds of shells and I ran around and around in the beach. I loved collecting shells.

Mom’s introduction

Hello there!

Summer holiday started today! I created this blog for my son Haidar so he doesn’t have idle hands during this holiday until school starts again in the end of January 2017. I designed activities for him so he won’t get bored and still can be creative. He will write things he did, take photos, draw pictures (no matter how ugly) and maybe post silly videos. I will check everything before publication to make sure that the spelling is correct, grammar understandable and content child-friendly.
