People asking for books/movies about Finnick and Haymitch’s games are kinda missing the point. Suzanne gave us the information that she felt was necessary about their games. Especially with Haymitch, we got quite a detailed look into his games in the Catching Fire book. Anything more would be using the death of children purely for entertainment, which would be against a core message in The Hunger Games series. I think there’s a lot of space for other books within Panem that could communicate really important messages, but I highly doubt we’ll see the games of anyone we already know.
#tbh the movies made me realize that seeing any other games after that would be to watch snows trials and errors through the lives of others#like the 10th hunger games was already fucking horrible and snow made it worse#why do you want to see that process...? your love for the character doesnt justify it#we know their future

it’s endearing to me that we think of Peeta as wanting to be a father not because he ever even suggests it (he doesn’t, not before the epilogue) but because Katniss is the narrator and she clearly wants him to be one

So you're telling me Peeta practically ran to 12 the moment he was discharged by that therapist guy, and the first thing he did upon his arrival was to look for primroses, to plant them by the windows of Everdeen's house so Katniss could not only, even though metaphorically, finally bury her baby sister and mourn in peace, but also have a tiny piece of Prim living nearby every time the flowers bloomed. Thus, comforting her was on his mind throughout the entirety of his recovery, and by heart, he always knew what to do to help her?

Peeta Mellark is the type of person to follow a grieving girl to her broken home and plant a garden. But people forget Katniss is also the type to sing a lullaby to a dying girl and lay her in a bed of flowers. Despite being subjected to the cruellest games, they’re two kids who continue to be kind and choose love. Not everyone could find light and love atop a graveyard in a meadow, and that is why Katniss and Peeta have always deserved each other.

I found a twitter thread listing other Korean game companies' response to ideology verification.
https://twitter.com/Love_Uriaedeul/status/1705129025201684583
thank you! I saw these sometimes with the protest hashtag but I didn’t know where they came from. direct link to tweet

again you can run them through machine translation and understand parts..the translation for the image with anime girls faces came out kinda garbled on mine but for all the others I’ll put the mtl under here

#also compared to pmoon clover games first game was loh meaning they had no fandom support#so honestly if clover games could pmoon couldve also done#i still remember all the fans begging people to give good ratings and supporting the company before they decided to give that answer

Project Moon Discourse part 6: It's Over (It's Never Over)
My project moon tag is dedicated exclusively for details on this situation make of that what you will
Last time on Project Moon: Geonggi Youth Union and Project Moon User Association (protesting fans faction) gets a legal threat from a an actual legal firm (none of them say as much, but the contents appear to be specified to the Youth Union, so likely a copy-pasted message). PMUA were asked to not ragepost until the Youth Union finished talks with Project Moon, but THAT completely fell through, so they just post it with a translated reply. Kim Jihoon gets MAD mad and says that the Geonggi Youth Union were going after PM to promote their campaign standing! Youth Union says what the fuck are you talking about, how would we do this when it was being handled internally and the public would only see us apologizing? The crux of all this legal threatening is because Vellmori resigned, therefore it wasn't 'unlawful dismissal'.
And now some new updates:
IT union vice chairman Hwanmin Kim realizes that on September 8 the Limbus Company Twitter sent him a cease and desist. Over Twitter DMs. I'm not kidding
A user has translated Hwanmin Kim's explanation of why talks broke down with the Geonggi Youth Union in this Twitter thread. In short: unless Vellmori expresses a desire to be reinstated their hands are tied, as the laws don't adequately protect workers. It seems the "political motivations" accusation is rooted in the fact that the YU is respecting that they can't represent Vellmori's worker rights unless she asks, yet are still campaigning against PM regardless.
The surrounding climate of Korean gaming companies policing women's speech and how the PM case blew up because of that climate has been recorded in a news article that tracks situations as recent as the whole PM/YU/PMUA showdown. You can read it here. They reached Monggeu (the artist for Leviathan) for comment, and Monggeu noted "they asked me not to say anything too 'PC' when I was hired". Another staff member said PM treats workers 'not as people, but as parts'.
HamHamPangPang addresses a rumour that fan gifts are being thrown out, saying the stored items were damaged. Main response has been "with no notice though?" and "how the fuck did that happen?" with some gift-givers noting they have photo evidence of their goods being stored safely. Most people are actually rather forgiving of the manager (HHPP has been totally exempt from all the blowback towards PM's mismanagement thus far) and are casting suspicion on Kim Jihoon.
Most importantly of all, Kim Jihoon posts an apology on the Limbus Company twitter, which is a hell of a thing after the Notes App Ragepost. He far more cordially explains that he says he posted a notice with 'vague wordings', despite the fact that it very explicitly stated 'she violated our rules, and thus we won't be working with her in the future' - the only vague aspect was how Vellmori left the company. I suppose this is a polite way to say 'we fucked her over in hopes the DCInsiders would feel they successfully drew blood and leave the company alone'. At no point does he specify the original DCInside harassment beyond 'the artist was free to go after them legally', just as Hwanmin Kim mentioned.
Also this:
LMAO
It's actually an otherwise reasonable apology and I think it's encouraging that he will finally work with his employees when they come to him with harassment, but he at no point is clear on why on earth it required international protest for him to do so.
But he had time to interject that he wants the Geonggi Youth Union, Hwanmin Kim, and the PMUA annihalated. OK dude
Personally, I support further protest and not spending money on Project Moon titles, this time strictly over refusal to denounce anti-feminist harassment or comment on their mismanagement. Also it's all but explicit the offer PM gave was "either resign and escape by letting DCInside feel they won or stay on and sue them by yourself, we don't want to rock the boat by helping you" and I'm pissed

projmoon finally released an apology
it feels hard to believe KJH with certain points made in the apology, he's still contradicting himself (saying the illustrator wanted to leave because of harassment when they said she violated their rules earlier; saying the translations of the original post weren't posted sooner out of fear that the incident may spread even though in the later added translations they say they were "unaware of the controversy"), they aren't addressing DC inside either (like the timing of the 'visit', if anything actually happened etc)
i think this will be my last post on this in the foreseeable future, personally i'm not accepting the apology

what vellmori received was a "recommended resignation" and not firing
what makes you think that that's still okay??? for having posted something related to feminism years ago before joining the company, the company basically uploaded an image that said that all your work will be deleted from the game and that you'd be fired, and behind all that your boss tells you that it'd be better to resign, what part of this do you guys see as fair treatment??
the shitty thing about this situation is because of this whole wordplay of "recommended" it insinuates your acceptance and your unfair firing becomes legal
what part of this makes you feel like you can support pjm????????
oh vellmori wasnt fired illegally thank god
she shouldnt? have gotten? a resignation? recommendation? in?the?first?place?

if anyone believes in the bullshit kjh put out i pray for you that you never work in a field in which you'd need help from unions
#kjh#pjm#project moon#lawsuit parties are hard long arduous and many times not worth it#most victims in unfair workplace treatment give up on their prosecution or just have mutual agreement with the company because of that#theyre tired. theyre traumatized. they want things over. but lawsuits can take up to years and years of fight that its not easy#so what the union and pmau where trying to do was to find a middleground between pm and their workers#the union basically said ill tell the world that we were mistaken about your firing of vellmori#and in place you have to promise us youll treat your workers right and protect them from cyber bullying#what pm did was to release the middleground. the promise between them and the union that was still#taking place and use it as a “proof” that the union was mistaken and the firing was legal#it has no fucking legal power the image literally has 초안. draft at the top of it#so the union and pmau are answering with i guess our promises are broken. lets take it to court like you want to#what part of it does it sound like the union was trying to wrongly prosecute pjm? to me it sounds more like pjm are cowards#if you guys still want to protect kjh and pm i really pray that you wont be mistreated at work#because you wont be able to protect yourself from the treatment your workplace will give you#pjm is not the small indie company it used to be anymore
