You live in a world where when you turn 16,the first thing your soulmate says to you will appear on your wrist. To be honest,you never really expected much from this,you’ve always expected your meeting with your soulmate to be “love at first sight” but this just ruins it all.
As the clock hits midnight,27 March,you had finally turned 16 that year and everyone at the party was curious as to what your wrist would show.After you blew your candles out,you finally decided to check it.
“Oya” that was the only thing that was shown on your wrist.All of your friends crowded around you asking what it was and when you showed them what it was, their smile faded away.
“Who the hell says that?What a weirdo,goodluck finding your soulmate,at least mine was a hey” You didn’t know how to feel,even though you didn’t really expect much but not this little either.Your friends all got normal ones but you?Who the hell says oya.
As the years gone by,you were unsure whether your soulmate was even alive at this point.The question of where they are and who they are lingered with you for the longest time as your friends all found their soulmates.
Summer that year,you decided to take a trip with one of your best guy friends,Tanaka,it was planned out perfectly,you two would be going to Japan for a quick holiday. You’ve always enjoyed the thought of being in Japan where the vending machines sold ramen it was a dream come true.
“O” Hearing that,your heart pounded, “is he my soulmate, was Tanaka always the one” you were speaking to yourself before he spat out “oh yea,i forgot to tell you,i forgot to bring my passport we need to make a turn back”
That summer,it was more about healing yourself,giving yourself a break rather than to find your soulmate because school has really messed you up.The two of you spent the first week together,shopping,eating and doing normal tourists stuff until one day Tanaka got a call from one of his old friends who moved to Japan.
Your friendship trip suddenly turned into him meeting up with his best friend from primary and not going to lie you were kind of jealous he had so many friends aside from you. “You’re going to love them they are amazing people” Well one thing led to another and now you’re in a stadium full of volleyball freaks.
“Oya Oya” The moment you heard that you turned your head to where the voice came from.This guy with white tips was greeting Tanaka and you immediately freaked out.
“Wait what did you just say? Did you just say that? Is that what i think it is” You shouted at him,everyone in the stadium paused before that guy shouted back “Wait, look at my arm” On his arm was exactly what you had just screamed out,embarrassing yourself in front of the whole stadium full of cute boys.
“Hi i’m Bokuto and i guess im your soulmate”
